Largest kitchen I've had the pleasure of decorating in this stunning mansion 😍

Wall cracks in joists scraped out, taped and skimmed.

Sealant from old tiles cut removed from skirting, sanded, filled to floor with toupret wood filler. Then caulked with flexible caulk.

Ceiling painted mcpherson eclipse brilliant white emulsion.

Walls in kitchen and small hall. sanded. Painted in Johnstone covaplus. Colour elephant breath.

Utility room walls painted dulux Egyptian cotton.

Wood work sanded. Undercoated. Top coat Johnstone off-white oil based satinwood.

Different between a good decorator and a quality decorator is all the prep work

Small kitchen became alot more challenging than I expected, 7 layers of stubborn wallpaper took me a weekend to remove. To reveal walls in tatters kept together with parcel tape at bits lol.
Walls then scraped, sanded,
Coat of zinsser peel stop.
Walls retaped and fully skimmed with easyfill then
Sanded.
Walls painted Johnstone covaplus Egyptian cotton.
Wood work sanded, coat zinsser bin primer then Johnstone aqua guard system.
Got there in the end lol

Saturday shift today

Garage conversion for kids playroom, dance studio, ceiling walls and wood work fully painted 3 coats. Lovely pastel colours 🤩

Hall, stair and landing new build most of the ceilings needed retaped. Walls patched up.
Ceilings, walls and wood work all sanded back and giving 3 coats. New oak doors 5 coats to going white and finished in Johnstone aqua guard satinwood. 🤩

Part 4, hall stripped, ceilings 2 coats dulux trade vinyl matt brilliant white.
Wood work sanded back, Bannister had years of paint took back, coat of zinsser bin. 1 coat Johnstone aqua guard undercoat. 2 costs Johnstone aqua guard satinwood.
Walls fully wallpapered with lovely green patterned paper. Another very happy client 🙂🤩

Wall stripped. All walls and wood work fully prepared and sanded back.

Yellow Wood work 2 coats Johnstone aqua guard undercoat.
2 coats aqua guard satinwood.
Cupboard 3 coats brilliant white.
Room fully wallpapered.
The flowers wallpaper becoming very popular again.

Two bedrooms that were freshly plastered, fully painted. Bigger one with two feature walls wallpapered.
Side door hall entrance painted and wallpapered in pattern wallpaper.
Second living room from white to all black, ceiling walls and wood work, photos don't do it justice 🤩

Busy first week back to work, One of our jobs.
Bedroom prepared,
Ceiling and walls hairline cracks scraped out, filled sanded.
Ceiling 2 coats, walls 4 and 5 coats, wood work 3 coats.
Finished off with brick effect wallpaper feature wall.
Stunning 😍

Long living room, ceiling. Walls wood work prepared sanded, painted 3 coats matt white. Feature wall stripped. Taped skimmed. Painted white. Freshened up for Christmas. 5 star review another happy client 🙂

This was a small bathroom stripped. Prepared, painted. Fully wallpapered with extra wide paper making it tricky. Clients very happy 🙂

Not posted in a while been really busy. Big high old fashion living room freshly plastered, fully painted. Old cornice patched up lots of cracks all over.
Old damaged Wood work round window sanded back then fully skimmed 2 coats in toupret wood filler. Sanded, painted and brought up like knew painted in white satinwood. Ceiling cornice white. Walls off-white. Dado white. Feature wall earl blue.

Hall from white to natural sage. Popular colour this year.

Living room freshened up from grey to white with a feature wallpapered wall.

Bedroom freshened up in white vinyl matt took 4 coats. Wood work took 3. Wall stripped and wallpapered. Small bathroom painted painted in white acrylic durable eggshell

High sun room extension fully painted. Fixed the the poor taping job between coats. Paint was still wet when photos took. Enjoyed the extra exercise climbing on this one 🙂
