We are excited to introduce new pre-order items. From the hugely popular ignition model, known for its models of custom cars from various eras in Japan, we are launching pre-orders for 24 models. 🛻
First, we have 5 models from RWB, a tuning shop famous for Porsche modifications. RWB model cars are highly sought after, with many inquiries from Europe and Asia. It seems that many people see the founder of RWB, Mr. Akira Nakai, as a charismatic figure.

We also have a lot of custom classic cars that are being released. My personal favorite is the Toyota Celica 1600GTV Green. Last year, I happened to see one parked near my house and was lucky enough to take a picture. 📸
It was in pristine condition, and I could really feel the owner’s love for the car.✨

Additionally, Kyosho has launched pre-orders for the latest 2024 models, including two color variants each of the GT-R NISMO and Fairlady Z NISMO. Be mindful that Kyosho’s order window is short.

Once again, I will continue to introduce the cars displayed at Ikaho American Village.

First, take a look at the giant teddy bear! Even while sitting, its head nearly touches the ceiling. The museum also has a workspace where these teddy bears are carefully crafted.🧸

This time, we present a replica model of the legendary Nissan sports car, the Datsun 240Z, faithfully recreated in its 1972 Monte Carlo Rally specifications. It is said that the museum director, Mr. Yokota, actually participated in the Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique with this car!

This is Eiwa from the shop staff. I recently visited the Ikaho American Village Museum located in Gunma Prefecture, Japan! 😝

The museum had many fascinating exhibits. It was founded by Masahiro Yokota, who has won and placed in international classic car rally competitions. If you ever travel to Japan, be sure to stop by this museum, which is conveniently located near the famous Ikaho Onsen (Hot Springs). Over the next few posts, I will be introducing some of the cars on display, so stay tuned!

This museum was built on the site of a former glass studio called "Haruna Glass." The equipment and piping from the glass studio have been preserved, giving the place a very authentic and immersive feel.

Let’s start with the 1930 Willys. Its elegant and beautiful form is truly captivating.

This is an assembly kit for the legendary GRX-3 engine that was installed in the Nissan R382, which conquered the "Japan Grand Prix" in 1969, competed with two-seat racing cars. It is a 3D printed kit that requires assembly and coloring, so it is recommended for those who regularly build plastic model kits. It appears to be quite realistically reproduced.

I'd like to try making it myself if I can find the time, but I'm not confident in my painting skills. 😔

It's a large 1/12 scale model, so if you're into that, I definitely encourage you to give it a try.😁

The actual Delorean car was incredible😆

Shizuoka Prefecture is a hub for many of Japan's model car and model kit manufacturers. About 5 months ago, I attended the annual Shizuoka Hobby Show held there. They displayed a life-sized replica of the Delorean, the time machine from "Back to the Future", a movie I adored as a child. I was so excited!😁

This summer, the heat caused the tires to come off.

In August, I made a big mistake. I ruined the Autocult 1:43 Mercedes-Benz 290 (W18) Roadster Amilcar that I intended to add to my collection.😖

Japanese summers are hot, and I carelessly left this model car by the window. When I checked it at night, the adhesive had melted, and two spare tires had come off. Melted adhesive was stuck to the base. Since this model is rarely available in the market, I felt deeply regretful.😭
