π Sneak peek π
If you have been following my stories you will know that I am doing βοΈ Christmas in October π. Yes, that is me while everyone is doing Halloween I am doing Christmas..
But moving on. I am using 2 types of yarn, Drops Nord for my white base and all the different colours are my mini skein from from my BEAUTIFUL Christmas advent calendar from 2021. At the start of October she did still have some left ... just putting that out there...
The pattern I am following is from and this cardigan is called crochet jacket 'baby basis'. Love this pattern. I have made it 9 times and this will be my 10th. Just to show you how much I LOVE this pattern. If you have not made it and your little one needs a cardi do check her out or dm me and I will be happy to make you a custom order cardi.
And the inspiration was Emma from . She used her 2021 advent calendar to make 24 day socks; soo pretty. I watch her podcast( I guess you can call me a fan.. watched all the episodes..)and these socks just stunning.. I dont knit but really loved the idea. If you are interested she has made a crochet cowl inspired by the socks and this winter she is to release an advent crochet pattern... so go check her out.
And if you have read to the end.. on the photo is a sneak peek of the colour for day 13 π
πΊ Harry the Wolf πΊ
Fun pattern and the wolf comes up super cute. The little dude has little mittens.π
I would definitely recommend him. Also loved the embroidery effect on th ears.
Have you made Harry the wolf? What yarn did you use? Would love to make him in a thicker yarn so he comes up bigger
π Murray the Otter π
Murray has got to be one of my favorite makes. He is super straight forward to make and he comes out super cute.
Easy construction, with no crazy amounts of sewing. If you are new to the book I would recommend starting with him.
Have you made him? What did you think? Would you recommend him to be first on the to make list from the book?
π
π¦Hector the Rhinoceros π¦
Hector is made using yarn that I purchased in in Paris, France. He is super fun to make and he has a interesting crochet construction.
Him and some other Picapau friends will be soon offered to be made to order in my Etsy store. So stay tuned for more information π
π
Do you remember this blanket made way way back?
It's a design by Rachele Carmona] and after making this CAL,I just fell in love with it. So I decided to keep it even though at that moment there were no plans for any little owner.
It's a gorgeous pattern, well written and as always with Rachele Carmona] it comes to make a stunning blanket. If you are looking for a blanket pattern, I would definitely recommend the Dutch Rose blanket pattern.
πThe yarn used is Alize Baby wool. A review of this yarn and photos of baby Aurora snug in her blanket are to come. So stay tunned π
