Last month I turned 40. I feel incredibly blessed to have had the opportunities and experiences I’ve had in my life. I realise how privileged I am. I have always valued experiences over things and that’s what I’ve always saved my money for. In my 40 trips around the sun I’ve travelled to around 90 countries on 6 continents, from the Arctic, to the Desert to the Jungle, and everything in between. Here are some highlights
1. Rowing in the Dolomites, Italy
2. Exploring Icy Waterfalls in Iceland under the Northern Lights
3. Watching glow worms in New Zealand
4. Hanging with gorillas in Rwanda
5. Driving 10,000km from London to Mongolia
6. Watching volcanos erupt in Vanuatu
7. Hiking the Dolomites
8. Safari in Tanzania before climbing Kilimanjaro
9. Exploring underwater caves in Tonga
10. Hiking Norwegian Fjords
Last week I spent exploring Lapland with my 7 Pro, I found the Super Res Zoom so helpful to have, to get in close to the subject and capture the best light. Having a 50 megapixel sensor (more than my professional camera!) and a 2x optimal zoom, it allows you to get in really close. Here's a few of my favourite shots along with a close up of the phone. More coming soon!
Super Res Zoom is not available for all camera apps or modes.
Lapland has to be one of my favourite places in the world, it’s so magical and there’s just no where else quite like it. This trip we’ve found some beautiful little Airbnbs. It’s so nice to come back in from shooting, put the fire on and have a look through your photos. We haven’t had luck with the Aurora this time though, so I have a feeling we’ll back back soon ?
- The Google Pixel cameras ability to take low light photos still blows my mind. You couldn't have dreamed of taking this photo with a phone just a few years ago. Taken on the Amalfi Coast in Italy a couple of weeks ago at dusk with my Google Pixel.
It’s coming to that time of year again, currently planning a trip back to this stunning area of the world with , last time was absolute magic 👌🏻
- Here are some memories from Italy from my Google Pixel. These were taken recently on the Amalfi Coast and last year in the Dolomites. I love the freedom of being able to take professional looking photos on my phone that is always in my pocket. No preparation needed
Some seriously dreamy morning conditions in Italy last year, sometimes you just get lucky 👌🏻 looking forward to heading back to Italy at the end of the summer

Ad - There's nowhere quite like the Dolomites. I recently spent some time back here exploring with my Google Pixel 5. It's so great to be able to take shots of this quality on my phone without having to lug around a heavy bag of professional equipment. Here's a selection of a few of my favourite shots. Im looking forward to trying out the Google Pixel 6 camera very soon.
- Having an ultrawide lens on my Pixel 5 is so handy. I can't emphasize enough how often I use this on my travels, especially with landscapes. This image was taken on our trip to Scotland a few weeks back. The lens allowed me to capture the patterns and shapes in the sky as well as the foreground of the lake in Glen Coe. The shot just wouldn't have the same impact without the Ultrawide.
Can you believe England can be so epic? Last week we’ve been up in the Lake District filming a landscape photography course that will be released in the next couple of months. If you’d like to register your interest. The link is in my bio! These shots were both taken as part of the course. @ The Lake District, Cumbria
Dreaming of this spot right now, everyone needs a bit of this relaxation! @ To Sua Ocean Trench
No where does waterfalls quite like Iceland! It’s been a tough year for everyone, especially those that work in tourism. But I think next year is going to make up for it. And if you happen to make it to Iceland when everything re-opens, make sure you look up my friends at , the best guides in town 😊 @ Seljalandsfoss, Iceland
I can’t believe it’s autumn already. Where has this year gone? I can’t exactly say I’m disappointed it’s gone fast! Anyway, I thought it was time for some autumnal shots, I’m hoping to get away and explore at some point this season, but Covid may have something to say about that 🤷🏻♂️ @ Lago Di Braies
A few more from the stunning fjords on my trip to Newfoundland & Labrador last summer. Check out my YouTube for loads more picks and BTS footage (link in bio) @ Newfoundland and Labrador
Want to know how much $ I EARN on Instagram? I decided to be open and make a video about it, as I often get asked. Can you make a career out of Instagram?Check the link to my YouTube in my bio for more info.
What a crazy year it has been! Sorry for the radio silence, I’ve been taking some time away from social media, it’s nice to reset once in a while. But there’s a lot of things I really love about this community. I look forward to getting back travelling again soon, but for now I’m going to start sharing photos again. On that note, which do you prefer, sunny day or a wintery evening? @ Hallstatt, Austria
Last year I had one of the most memorable travel experiences of my life- chasing icebergs in Newfoundland and Labrador. I’ve just made a video talking through the trip and showing loads of photos and BTS video. Check it out in my bio link. @ Newfoundland and Labrador
I’ve never witnessed anything quite as otherworldly and surreal as 10s of thousands of glow worms in a pitch black cave in New Zealand. Have you ever seen them? Even as I look at this photo I took, I can’t believe it’s real. It’s definitely something that high on my list of things to see again!
What's in my camera bag? I get asked this often so I decided it was about time to make a video going through what camera kit I travel with when shooting travel and landscapes! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hmdlT1zDizk&t=1s
WHAT'S IN MY CAMERA BAG? Travel/Landscape Photography I get asked a lot of questions about what kit I use. So here is everything I take with me when I travel for landscape photography! The links below are all to...
WHAT’S IN YOUR CAMERA BAG? I get asked this question a lot so I decided to make a video about it, follow the link in my bio. This series of photos was taken in Tuscany at the end of last year. Who’s excited about getting out travelling again? It feels like things are starting to open up and we can see a light at the end of the tunnel! @ Link In Bio
Wanaka was my favourite spot in NZ. I loved the town, the lake and scenery was beautiful and the hike and camping up to Roy’s Peak was one of the most amazing views I have ever woken up to (more photos of that tomorrow). This has to be one of the most scenic and probably the most photographed tree in the world! @ Wanaka, New Zealand
This is one of my favourite shots, taken quite a few years ago in what has become an iconic spot. It’s just such an out-of-this-world location and it’s crazy that I spent an whole evening here with this view and not a single person around. Italy has had it hard in this crisis, but im glad to see they are pulling through. I already can’t wait to travel back there and do what I can to help their tourism and economy as soon as I’m able. It’s one of my favourite countries for so many reasons
Who wants to be featured by ?!They are currently running a competition for Earth Day and I’m honoured to be amongst the guest judges along with the awesome , and .You just need to post a photo and tag before midnight on 30th April. challenged me to talk about what I am thankful for about travel ( ). One of the most important things for me is the human aspect - the friends you make. I’ve loved travel as long as I can remember and have spent as much time as I can exploring in my adult life. I’ve visited around 90 countries in the past 15 years. I couldn’t even count the people I’ve met and the friends I’ve made. I feel so connected to the world, wherever I go, I often know a local or have some kind of connection. Instagram has made it even easier to meet people. I thought these photos were apt for this post. This was an incredible morning I spent in Switzerland with my good friends .wm and .ou , both of whom I met through Instagram. @ Sankt Moritz
The mysterious Dark Hedges in Northern Ireland. You may recognise them as the Kings Road from Game of Thrones. We visited and night time and used lights from a distant car to create this effect. What do you think? It’s such an eerie but beautiful spot.
This quarantine has been a great excuse to go through the archives and re-live some of my favourite travel memories. This night in Milford Sound is definitely one of them. What a magical place. You can see why Rudyard Kipling called it the eighth wonder of the world.
Yosemite National Park - in my opinion, one of the most beautiful parks in the world. I’d love to go back in autumn and winter. What’s your favourite park? Anywhere that rivals Yosemite? @ Yosemite National Park
