What a honour to see so many of our YA fam go through the waters of baptism last night. 🌊

As they’ve taken this step of obedience, let their courage and faith stir up your own this week!

Let’s take yesterday’s commission seriously and have the courage to be on the look out for God-appointments to care and connect with those around us in a real way this week.

Off the back of praying this bold prayer - let’s have the COURAGE to profess boldly what we believe deeply - that Jesus is the answer. That Hope, that Life, that Joy, that Love, that Security, Identity, Purpose are all found In Him.

Let’s be determined today to not letting our preference/comfort/convenience get in the way of being willing witnesses to the people God is divinely placing in our path.

The Gospel is that simple and that profound - IN JESUS the old is gone and the NEW is here 🌅

Tonight we get to celebrate a number of people going through the waters of baptism and being welcomed into the family of God 🌊

As they step out in faith and obedience, let’s come with an expectation that God will also call us deeper in our communion with him and the outworking of Jesus’ Lordship in our own life. 👑

God has been moving and restoring us to himself these last few Sunday nights as we’ve unpacked the ‘True Lies’ that have built obstacles around the freedom that Christ bought for us — and we know that tonight will be no different.

Last night was holy ground as Morgan put the call out to redefine and re-engage the fight that Jesus truly calls us to.

Not me vs them.

But me vs me.

Let’s be wholly committed to the cause of resolving the inconsistencies within ourselves so that we might become more like Jesus every day of our lives.

What a start to our True Lies series!

Let’s remember here that when we say “I am NOT enough” we are not speaking to our VALUE but our SUFFICIENCY.

We are not sufficient in and of ourselves and when we live as though we should be we land ourselves in a world of pain every single time.

Yet, when we recognise our insufficiency and allow Jesus himself to bridge the gap - well that’s some pretty powerful stuff!

Sunday is coming and that means SUNDAY NIGHT CHURCH 🔥

If Worship in the Round was anything to go by - God is speaking, Holy Spirit is moving and we are ready 🤲

Hey YA - As we head into Expansion as a Church, can we encourage you to put your faith in ACTION over this 12 month season! ⏩️

Faith creates space for God to move in miraculous ways we never would have seen otherwise. (Think God parting the Red Sea, Manna in the wilderness, 5 Loaves & 2 Fish feeding 5000 people, One Jar of Oil filling every vessel in a whole town etc etc)

When we step out in faith & obedience God shows up in ways we couldn’t have dreamed up on our own.

In a season where you have more disposable income than you will likely ever have in your life (% wise!) let’s be BOLD and COURAGEOUS in our obedience.

Let’s step out together to see our generation impacted with the reality, name and hope of Jesus!

Let’s show up to church today with expectation and anticipation that Holy Spirit will fill us afresh and invite a friend while we’re at it!

Killing Clique Culture! Here’s some reminders going into church this week of how we can be a part of building a culture of COMMUNITY 👉

Community is all about being able to be more, achieve more, see more, believe more TOGETHER.

Community is about being strengthened, encouraged, equipped and challenged to become more like Jesus. It’s about dying to our self serving ways, surrendering to a cause greater than ourself and partnering with people that need us as much as we need them.

It’s iron sharpening iron. There’s embers and sparks and occasionally flames. But those flames refine us and ignite faith to see God’s kingdom here on earth as it is in Heaven.

But it takes grit, resilience, self-control, patience and humility to fully surrender to not just the perks but the practice of community.

So we ask you this - what posture are you coming to church with tonight?

Are you coming with an attitude of “serve me” or a spirit of “God, show me?”

Show me what’s in me that I need to lay down.

Show me what’s limiting my impact, what’s spoiling the fruit.

Show me how I can partner with you.

Show me who I can encourage, love on, spur on, champion, come along side.

Show me more of your heart through my worship.

Show me the truths of Your Word through the message.

Reveal Your Ways and help me surrender to Your Will, that I might look more like you driving home than I did walking in.

What better place to be than in church on a Sunday!

COMMUNITY is Key to Christianity and we can’t wait to see you tonight 5pm ✨

Let’s come with EXPECTATION that God will use those sharing to lift our faith and believe and see the impossible become possible with God.
