Just a few reminders as you head into your Friday:
1. If you stick with it, you will have the last laugh.
2. No one is built like you. It doesn't matter if you do the same exact thing. They can't do it like you do. Lean into your uniqueness.
3. You don't know what anyone is going through and has been through so if you can't be kind, just leave people alone. No one needs you spreading misery.
4. Being a work in progress is ok as long as you're working ok your progress. Don't let that be a lifelong crutch to never live up to your potential.
5. Tread lightly because God's not through with all of us. Especially not me.
Which reminder resonated with you the most?

Yesterday was Tiffanni's birthday. It hasn't gotten any easier to celebrate since the first one without her here.
I consider myself to be a strong communicator, but grief steals even words. It steals moments of joy. It steals belly laughs. It steals toothy smiles. It steals holiday cheer. It is a thief of many things, but not of love.
The love that she has left in my heart has propelled me through the darkest moments. It has given me unspeakable joy as I watch her three little girls become the most amazing women. Her love has been a guiding tenet in the way I show up as a mother, daughter, sister, and friend.
Her absence is profound, but her love is filling.
I recognize her here because she is the impetus for me being in this space. If you like it here, you have her to thank.
There is beauty and strength in darkness. With effort and intention, even the worst thing in your life can birth something profound.
Stay the course.
Happy Heavenly Birthday!

๐ธโจ Happy Galentine's Day to my incredible tribe of fierce and fabulous women! ๐๐ Today, I want to take a moment to celebrate the power of sisterhood and express my gratitude for each and every one (not all pictured) of you who make up my amazing circle.
Life is an unpredictable journey, and having a solid tribe of women to navigate it with makes all the difference. We laugh together, cry together, lift each other up, and celebrate each other's victories. Through thick and thin, you've been my constants, my confidantes, and my source of strength.
In a world that sometimes tries to pit us against each other, we've chosen to uplift, empower, and support one another. Together, we break barriers, challenge norms, and redefine what it means to be a united force of phenomenal women.
To my tribe, you are the unsung heroes of my story. Thank you for being my sounding board, my cheerleaders, and my partners in crime. Your love and support have been the pillars of my resilience, and I am endlessly grateful for the bond we share.
On this Galentine's Day, let's celebrate the beauty of our unique connections and the irreplaceable value of a tribe that stands strong through all seasons of life. Here's to the laughter that echoes in our hearts, the tears we've wiped away, and the countless memories we've created together.
May our bond continue to grow, flourish, and inspire others to cultivate the magic of sisterhood. Here's to the women who make life brighter, bolder, and infinitely more beautiful. Happy Galentine's Day, my forever tribe! ๐

A follow up from my self care posts.
Self-Care for Sanity During the Holiday Season There are two guaranteed times of the year when as a mother, I feel like I am running out of gas. One is the homestretch at the end of each school year,
Third and final post in this self care series. #11 is what I live for. Check out my special guest in slide 4.
Which out if the 15 self care tips resonate with you the most?
11. **Connect with Loved Ones**: Spend quality time with friends and family, but also ensure you have some time for yourself to recharge.
12. **Practice Mindfulness**: Be present in the moment and try to manage stress through mindfulness techniques like deep breathing and meditation.
13. **Avoid Overindulgence**: While it's okay to enjoy holiday treats, don't overindulge in unhealthy food or alcohol, as it can affect your physical and mental well-being.
14. **Celebrate Your Achievements**: Acknowledge your accomplishments, no matter how small, and reward yourself for staying on top of your self-care routine.
15. **Take Breaks**: In the midst of holiday preparations, remember to take short breaks to relax and clear your mind.
Remember, taking care of yourself is not selfish; it's essential for your overall health and happiness. By following these tips, you can navigate the busy holiday season with more ease and joy.
Self Care Tips Part Two:
6. **Practice Gratitude**: Take a moment each day to reflect on the things you're grateful for. This can help reduce stress and promote a positive mindset.
7. **Delegate and Ask for Help**: Don't be afraid to ask for assistance with holiday tasks or delegate responsibilities. You don't have to do everything yourself.
8. **Limit Screen Time**: Set boundaries on your screen time to avoid spending excessive hours on social media or work-related tasks.
9. **Plan and Organize**: Make lists and plan your tasks in advance. This can help reduce last-minute stress and ensure you don't forget anything important.
10. **Learn to Say No**: Politely decline invitations or requests that you can't manage. It's okay to say no when you need to prioritize your well-being.
Which one of these is the hardest for you to do?
For me, it's always asking for help. I never want to burden anyone, but I've gotten progressively better about this over the years and it is a game changer!!
Feeling stretched?!?!
Amidst the holiday hustle and bustle, don't forget to gift yourself the most precious present: self-care!!
Over the next few days I'll be sharing some tips to help you stay balanced and healthy:
1. **Prioritize Self-Care**: Make self-care a non-negotiable part of your schedule. Whether it's meditation, a warm bath, or a good book, set aside time for activities that relax and rejuvenate you.
2. **Set Realistic Expectations**: Don't overcommit to events or tasks. Set achievable goals and boundaries to prevent stress and burnout.
3. **Stay Active**: Maintain your regular exercise routine or find opportunities for physical activity, like a winter walk or a dance party with friends and family.
4. **Eat Mindfully**: Enjoy the holiday treats, but also prioritize nourishing your body with healthy, balanced meals. Don't forget to stay hydrated.
5. **Get Enough Sleep**: Quality sleep is essential for your overall well-being. Aim for 7-9 hours of restful sleep each night.
