Qualified Norway for the Olympics in ILCA 6✅ with a 19th overall at the worlds, 14th nation.
But apart from that, this is not the way I want to be racing or performing. Leaving the world championship in Haag feeling disappointed in myself and short of showing what I can really do out there. A mild cold, never quite understanding where to go on the race course and some bad starts made racing too complicated for me this week. There is nothing to blame other than myself, and right now I wasn’t good enough to race among the top of the fleet, where I want to be.
Time to take some time off for reflection and recovery, and come back training harder and smarter than ever👊🏼
ISAF Worlds started today! 2 races a day for 5 days, with one rest day in between. This is also the first possibility to qualify Norway for the Olympics next year, 16 nation spots will be handed out at the end of the week🙌🏼 Not the best start of the event today, but I’m ready to turn it around👊🏼 results and tracking can be followed here:

7th at the Olympic test event✅
Proud to come away with a medal race and some at times very good racing in such a challenging week. Started out feeling great on the first day, and then the battle back after getting injured was on. Was for sure a challenge both physically and mentally, but a good test of how to handle unforeseen situations before next year👊🏼 really testing out everything this test event😅
Congrats to the girls taking the medals this week, great racing!
Now it’s time to recover the body and mind for a week before heading off to Holland for the final prep before worlds mid August🤩
Good fight on the water yesterday! Currently in 4th after day one of the Olympic test event here in Marseille💃
Unfortunately I am unable to sail today due to an injury from a incident on the water yesterday. One of my competitors sailed into me, which caused muscular damage to my upper left leg. Everyone involved has taken responsibility and there are no hard feelings. I am lucky to get away with a muscular injury and nothing more serious, this will hopefully heal quite quickly. S**t happens and sometimes sports at this level can lead to unfortunate incidents😌 I will not compete today but hope to be well enough to try again tomorrow. If I am able to sail tomorrow I can get a redress for the races I am unable to compete in today😊
Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery to get back out there and give it my all👊🏼
Test event starts today! This is the official test for the Olympics next year, same race comity, same race areas and same fleet (more or less). The action can be followed live on tracking here: https://paris2024.sapsailing.com/gwt/Home.html #/event/:eventId=b8220cee-9ec7-4640-b8d8-f40e079456d5

Back in business in Marseille💨 exams are done and now it’s full ahead on preparations for Olympic test event and Worlds later this summer👊🏼 first up - coaches regatta here in Marseille💃
Ended up with a 7th place in the French Olympic week👊🏼
Even with a few costly mistakes during the week I still managed to finally grab a spot in the medal race again😍 After over a year of pretty mediocre results - this was a huge relief, even though there is still some more points to shave off to really fight for the medals😌
Sports can be tough when you keep pushing without seeing any results for longer periods. I would be lying if I said I hadn’t thought about this being the end to my sailing career if I couldn’t get a better regatta together soon. Luckily I have a lot of great people around me pushing me to become better every day and reminds me of the bigger process🤗 so this world of slow boats and general recalls isn’t getting rid of me just yet!
Now it’s time for some highly needed rest and studying, before a big summer of training and preparations for the test event in Marseille in July and the World Championships in August (which is also the first Olympic nation qualifier)🎉
Thank you for the endless support from my sponsors and cheering and love from everyone else🥰 it means the world to me💕
Første medal race for min del siden OL seiles imorgen.
Finale-racet kan følges via tracking kl 11 imorgen her: https://sof2023.sapsailing.com/gwt/Home.html #/regatta/races/:eventId=67cea8b6-6f56-4d73-949e-383aeffa12f7®attaId=SOF2023%20-%20ILCA6
The three stages of capsizing, the day before the first World Cup of the year. Let’s hope the racing days are a little more successful😅
First day concluded today with no races completed. Good practice though, with the whole fleet here and two half races sailed✅
Ready to give it my all in the next 4 days of fleet racing👊🏼
Results can be found here (ilca 6):

Ended up 20th at the open Europeans. Not the result I was hoping for but nevertheless, some of the races felt better than in a very long time. So now it’s full throttle towards the first World Cup of the year in Palma, and try to stick together a full event this time👊🏼
Half way through Euros. Two days of waiting around and one race resailed on day three due to an upwind mark with a mind of its own. Then two days of three races per day, one day on each end of the results😅 leaving me in 12th before gold fleet racing tomorrow and Friday👊🏼 Very happy to be able to turn a bad start of the event around! Now I just gotta work to keep that arrow pointing up👆🏼
On your marks - go! Europeans starts today here in Andora, Italy. 116 girls on the start line ready to battle it out for the next 6 days.
A long winter season of training is behind us and I am excited to see what this regatta will bring💃 let’s goo👊🏼

First camp of the year✅ sun, wind, whales and a great group of sailors, 10/10 combo🔥 Mexico, I will be back👌🏼
First training camp of 2023 is well underway! Great days so far in Mexico with a training group of amazing sailors. Whales spotted every day and steady wind and sun making it a dream start to the season☀️ 10 more days to go👊🏼
Done with a long and challenging season.. 23rd at the Europeans (19th European) was not the result I was aming for, but at least a lot of good learning is being taken away from the week! Now it’s time for a longer period of training and improving those points to fight back next season!
Onwards and upwards🚀

Resultater kan følges her:
Ready set go! European championship starts tomorrow, with 6 days of racing - 2 races a day and 110 competitors👊🏼
After a disappointing end to a great start of the worlds in Texas (ending with a 19th position overall), I have had some time to recharge, evaluate and work on a few of the points that came up! Like someone told me during worlds - from good results comes great memories, from worse results comes great learning!
I am ready to fight back in the European Championship starting in only 8 days👊🏼
Pictures from our short and sharp camp in Scheveningen last week with some really good training☀️
Ready to send it in the last event of the year next week💁🏼♀️
VM er over for denne gang. Sitter igjen ganske skuffet over egen seiling siste 3 dagene.

3/12 race unnagjort i god flyt!

Jentecamp for tredje år på rad ble gjennomført med masse latter, seiling og nydelige omgivelser😍 for en rå gjeng med seilere🔥 stor takk til for enestående gjestfrihet, for flotte tskjorter and last but not least for the best sheets there is (and they’re pink!!)🥰

Jokes aside though. We are mid way through our third camp of the summer in Marseille and I’m finally feeling fully back on track after my long break due to long covid. Never been good at appreciating the periods where the body is willing to put in all the work and still feel like it has some more to give. I will this time!
Conditions are as they always seem to be in this bay, quite tricky and giving us lots to work on💃 5 more days on the grind👊🏼
The braid is back in bumpy business and it’s race time! First race since October coming up tomorrow in Kiel week💃 Couldn’t be more excited to finally be on the other side of covid, exams and recovery time🤩 let’s gooo
