I set myself a challenge sometime in the early 2010s of writing one song a year from now on. I finished 2018's song in 2019 and finished 2019's song at the weekend. Couldn't have written it in 2019 though.

I’ve been slowly working on recording a song I wrote about a minor character from the 2010 Amy Adams vehicle Leap Year and I’ve just realised I should’ve tried much harder to finish it by this week. Marketing genius that I am. Also it’s weird that the film came out as far away from a leap year as it could’ve done.
