There is evidence to suggest that persons whom have experienced childhood tend to have more perceived experiences as adults than those who did not experience trauma. My book takes a look at this phenomenon and offers a different perspective than the traditional viewpoint that these experiences are akin to psychosis. No, you're not crazy.

As the weather gets warmer and folks tend to post more reels and live content, I want to throw this out there. Yes, DV (as with most violent crime) increases significantly during the summer months.

1) hand over heart (no words) to acknowledge you saw the signal.
2). If you see the sign and know the person’s address, 911. This is not a “hey, I’m kinda done with this jerk” signal. This is a “I need help now” signal.
3). Report post as immediate danger. Too many fail to do this part. Yep, Facebook censorship sucks but what they do right is help victims in immediate distress.
4). Stay on the Live for additional cues on what help is needed. Do NOT push the person for info as they may not be able to safely verbalize. Keep an eye on chat functions.
