Yoga is a practice that has strong African roots. It’s benefits are endless, including increased energy, vitality and heart health. Yoga also helps with mindfulness and is intrinsically connected to mediation. Come learn and practice both with us at Lake Merritt on July 7th!

What does it look like to build intimacy in our platonic relationships? And what are the impacts?

Hella Healed is the culmination of so many prayers and realizations that walking in our purpose is necessary! So much love and intention has gone into making this space a reality and to see it come to life is beyond rewarding. We created Hella Healed because we saw such an immense need for inclusive, intergenerational Black spaces centered around OUR traditional methods of healing - to meet all of us where we are and support one another as we take control of our holistic wellness.

Frankincense aka ‘liquid gold’ is true to its name. It’s know for boosting the immune system, reducing stress and it’s anti-aging properties on skin. It has also been used for centuries in many tradition Afrikan rituals.
We’ll be working with Frankincense this Saturday at Hella Healed, come check it out!

Rose essential oil is beautiful medicine and belongs in everyone’s healing toolbox. It is known to improve confidence and fight depression, as it evokes feelings of love. It also improves skin, reduces inflammation and helps to regulate digestion, amongst so many other things.

Wow!! Y’all I’m so incredibly speechless after receiving so much love and support this past Saturday. Hella Healed was everything I could have ever asked for and so much more. I witnessed so many beautiful black people come through, people who have been searching for this space since before it existed and I am so immensely grateful to have been called to do this work. You all have no idea how much co-creating this space has meant for me. I am forever grateful and refuse to spend my life energy on work that is not aligned with my God-given purpose. There was so much love in this room. I hope y’all liked the gifts :) HUGE shoutout to for being an amazing host and healer, your workshop was so good and right on time! Love, gratitude and blessings to my brother Ted for blessing us with the GEMS about herbal medicine and leading a dope workshop. Much love to for blessing us with incredible vegan cuisine; your work as a culinary healer is incredible and I can’t wait to see you blow up even more :) so much gratitude to for capturing the pure divinity that was this space, so glad you did your thing cuz my pictures don’t really cut it lol! And thank you to for sharing your delectable desserts with us. This space was intentionally ALL BLACK from the people to the vendors to the venue ✊🏿❤️ and I cannot wrap this long post without expressing my deep deep appreciation for my village who held down this entire event!!! Y’all took care of everything so I didn’t have to worry about a single detail during the event, I could never thank you enough. All I can do is have you like you got me!
