De retour du Pays de Galles, le bagad de Pouldergat organise sa paella à emporter le 7 octobre 23 sonneurs du bagad Glaziked de Pouldergat se sont rendus au Pays de Galles la semaine dernière dans le cadre du festival du mouton de Llondovery
We would like to thank everyone who bought a raffle ticket over the weekend.
I would also like to thank all our Twinning members, who very kindly donated Welsh gifts for the hampers and also Bagad Glaziked Pouldregad who donated to the Breton hamper.
A big thanks you our lovely Mayor Mrs Gina Jones for drawing the raffle.
1st was the Breton hamper, which was won by Mrs Joan Snaith.
2nd was the Welsh hamper, won by Jon Atkinson.
3rd was the tea set, won by Ian Payne C/o Rod and Sally.
4th was the Penderyn Whiskey, won by Delyth Ffosyffin, Cellan.

We have received some very sad news this evening from Yannig, Bruno Le Rumeur has passed away. Bruno was the first président of the Pluguffan Twinning. Im sure many of our Twinning friends, will remember Bruno with lots of affection. We send our love and condolences to his family.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our time with everyone.
We’ve had a wonderful few days welcoming Kristell, Karine and their lovely students Garance, Tessa,Heloise, Louise, Emmie, Louna, Enora and Morgane from college La Sabliere in Brittany to our Eisteddfod yr Urdd 2023. I would like to thank everyone from Helen in making a delicious packed lunch for them on Wednesday, Jon cooking the bbq on Thursday and Rod and Sally driving them to Cardiff yesterday. Wyn and i would like to thank everyone who came to meet them and supported us in hosting them all.
I had a great time with them all and it was nice for a change to have a house full of girls!

A choir from Collège La Sablière in Brittany have just travelled all the way to Carmarthenshire to perform at the Urdd Eisteddfod as part of the celebration of the twinning of Llandovery and Pluguffan.

The group will be arriving on Friday, 15th September and staying until the Sunday, 17th September. Would anyone be interested in hosting a musician in their home for that weekend by any chance?
