GUTTA CLOTHING is a street wear company coming straight out of Nottingham, UK with a social umbrella arm the Gutta Lost Boys adding an interesente twist.
GUTTA CLOTHING is a street wear company originally set up as a social enterprise but has grown to have input from a number of designers with different character traits and skill sets. At first we thought this would weaken the brand values, however we have come to think that this is how life should be. A collaboration of all members of our society. The company is ever evolving as we all learn with
the focus on creativity and producing next level designs. For more information on the Social enterprise focus of the brand please see the Lost Boys page. Any design coming out under Lost Boys will have this indicated on the design. GUTTA LOST BOYS is the social arm of the label. Wether from an inner city, people with aspergus we seek to work with creative minded people who we deem have effectively been neglected or kicked to the GUTTA by society. We are all different, it would be boring if we were all samees. Peeps with aspergus just make sense of the world in a different way, this sadly works against them when it comes to social or work opportunities. Personally i think its funny when someone shouts c**t in the workplace as a reflex..if they cant help it why should this work against them, we should be embracing that as bringing some humor to the day. If someone loves routine there is loads of routine jobs in the workplace that other peeps don't want to do. Sometimes it means extra support is needed...but isn't it worth it knowing the difference to know we have included someone that is often excluded, we all know it happens it's just easier sometimes for us to get on with our life and ignore it. The aim of Gutta lost boys is to create an umbrella brand with these people so we can develop their design and business skills in a commercial context. Giving them the excitement and buzz of being part of a dynamic company. Giving them the chance to earn some money through royalties on their designs, the pride of seeing their. Through working on the label the people will hopefully develop the skill-set that would give them the chance of securing a job within a creative company such as a screen-printers or embroiderers. (apologies that was long in the game)
