The team at JOY has been distraught seeing the innocent Armenians caught in the devastating war and humanitarian crisis in Artsakh. This past summer, the organization continued its efforts in Armenia by providing direct aid to families who lost fathers and sons in the war. The photos capture multiple homes visited in a village near Lake Sevan, where these families received brand new-clothing and essential items. Thank you to our generous donors for your support.

Last night, JOY’s Founder and President, Joe Kaprielian, was honored with the prestigious Humanitarian Award at the AIM Fund’s 20th Anniversary Gala, awarded to acknowledge JOY’s decade-long commitment to providing aid to young people in need both in the US and in Armenia. Kaprielian also received recognition from the United States Congress, California State Senate, California State Assembly, and the City of Glendale.
The is an extraordinary organization that transforms lives by providing cochlear implants or Bone-Anchored Hearing Aid (BAHA) devices to children in Armenia, allowing them to hear.
JOY and Mr. Kaprielian are incredibly grateful to AIM Fund, the organization’s remarkable founder, Dr. Salpy Akaragian, and the various government officials for this immense honor.
We encourage you to follow and support so that they can continue to fulfill their mission and bring the gift of hearing to several more children in Armenia.
