🇻🇳Vietnam Day 1: a visit to Huế

Located in central Vietnam, Huế City is the capital of Thua Thien Hue - a coastal province which shares borders with Quang Tri Province to the north, Quang Nam Province and Da Nang to the south, Laos to the west and the East Sea to the east.

The train takes about 2.5 hours to complete a picturesque route with a stunning coastal view. This journey then ventures inland, taking you through lush paddy fields, charming villages, and towering mountains. The Hai Van Pass, with its breathtaking vistas, is a highlight of the route. Finally, the train crosses the Perfume River, providing views of Hue’s iconic landmarks. When you arrived you can always book Grab Car/ Bike to your destination. Went to the Thien Mu Pagoda first, stayed for an hour and booked another car to the Hue Historic Temple and had a late lunch at our limousine pick up location back to Da Nang. It was a short trip but it was a great experience with the train and to see the historic Huế.
