An impressionistic scene from my mountains - Sudetes. It is a view of the Kłodzko Valley from the airport of the Former German Gliding School (before WWII). Today, it is an interesting viewpoint. Painted alla prima though with only little impasto - I tried to go a bit towards minimalism here.

An impressionistic scene from my mountains - Sudetes. It is a view of the Kłodzko Land from from the top of Mount Skowronia (Mt Skylark). It is one of my favorite viewpoints, loved since childhood. Painted alla prima.

"Crystal of Transition of Master Siu-Uo - the Third Transition - Passage between the Gardens through the Sudeten Foreland"
Oil on hardboard. 60 x 80 cm. 2021/2022.

This painting was created spontaneously in many sessions spread over a long period of time. It was sketched around a few ideas, during the covid-19 epidemic, when I often drove between my home (in the mountains) and my Muse's home (in the plains). On the way we were discovering many hidden corners of the Sudeten Foreland (that is the Land under the Sudeten Mountains). Our strange paths led us between two very different spaces and dimensions, but it was our gardens that made the connection in my mind. As I look at the landscape of the Foreland from this new perspective, I see a secret passage between the two worlds - between the Gardens. It can be said that thanks to isolation, we have discovered real treasures that we have had under our noses for years.
