I have fresh flowers again this weekend and thought it may be nice to give a bunch to someone who is maybe not having such a great time at the moment or you think is just wonderful.... pop a comment on this post with your nominations and I shall pick someone at random to recieve a summery bunch of flowers this weekend. Please note they will need to live with in my delivery area so Ashby, Swadlincote, Melbourne, Breedon or close to.... 😊 I can deliver them either Saturday or Sunday morning 🙂 I'll close entries Friday and 3pm and pick a winner out shortly after 🙂

Right..... I've given myself a great big confidence kick up the bottom and booked the wreath workshop! Venue is now confirmed and childcare taken care of so here we go!! I'm aiming to do 2 workshops back to back on Wednesday 4th December at Breedon Village Hall. Your place will NOT be guaranteed until the £10 non refundable deposit is paid!! If you'd like to book on then please do asap by messaging me via the page where i can let you have payment details. There will be two times avaliable and 12 places per workshop...

*6.30pm - 8.30pm

If these are filled I may try to look at booking the following Wednesday but I'm trying to be mindful I have markets all through December I'll need to be preparing for as well as 3 kids to accommodate!

I know it may only be August but I've been asked by a few people about workshops this year.... if there's enough interest I would be happy to run one or 2 as I think I have found a venue to host them but they would most likely need to be held on a Wednesday afternoon/evening. If you'd like to make your own Christmas door wreath please leave a comment below and I'll get looking at organising!! Today's beautiful wedding bouquet.... absolutely beautiful mix for a summer wedding.... lilac lisianthus, astrantia, gyp, lavander, limonium and eucalyptus. And the weather came goid in the end too after a drizzly start! I hope the lovely couple and a fantastic day ☺️

It may be a glorious sunny day but I've been starting to make my Christmas decorations! 🙈 I've lots of ideas of things I'd like to make this year fo the Christmas Markets at Calke this year.... I'll be there all 4 weekends leading up to Christmas...can't wait! 🌳🌿🌳🌿

Always find it amazing how fashions and styles can come back around... like crop tops and baggy bottoms are back in, or Macrame... or dried flowers! I remember one of the first things I got to make with my Godmother Suzanne in her shop was a little straw hat with dried flowers.... those and boxed frame pictures were really popular...25 years ago! But it's a lovely memory and one of my influences to start floristry.... even if Suzanne kept trying to dissuade me! 🌿🌳
