North Wales Endurance Open 1 24/05/2024 All entrants shall be deemed to have made him/herself familiar with, and agreed to be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules and to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of the Anti-Doping Rules.

PBs for Callum and Abby at A Coruna !

Star British performance at A Coruna on Saturday was Callum Wilkinson of Enfield & Haringey AC’s 1:20:27 in the men’s 20k, a 5-second personal best and an emphatic return to form. This should be enough to get him on the start line at the European Championships next month and the Olympics in August. Abby Hughes of Taunton AC continued her improvement with a 14-second PB of 51:35. Medway and Maidstone AC’s Cameron Corbishley recorded a steady 1:26:37.

Join the six Southern athletes that have already entered the England Athletics winter track championship races on Saturday 9 March at Moulton College, Northamptonshire. Entries close next Tuesday.

The championship races are :
• Senior and U20 10000m
• U17 5000m
• U15 1000m
All races are open to all, but there are time limits for the 10000m races.

The England Athletics winter track championship races, with a number of supporting running and walking races, take place on Saturday 9 March at Moulton College, Northamptonshire (NOT our more familiar Moulton in Suffolk.) Championship races are :

• Senior and U20 10000m
• U17 5000m
• U15 1000m

All races are open to all, but there are entry standards for the 10000m races.

Revised Timetable for the Ray Hall Memorial Winter Track League/Cambridge Harriers Open Track Walks - Sun. 22nd Oct.

Please note that due to a small entry in the Young Age Group events (none for the U17 3000m) and an entry for the 5000m where there is a wide range of PB/SB the time table has had to be amended. The first 5000m race is the faster of the two races.

The revised timetable is as follows. The number shown in brackets indicates the number of entrants:
12:50 pm - U13 1500m (1) and U15 2000m (5)
13:20 pm - Mixed 5000m Race 1 (11)
13:55 pm - Mixed 5000m Race 2 (12)

Athletes are to register (in the clubhouse) no later than 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of their event.

Please note that the track hiring does not include access to the indoor area - so please do not use for warmup etc, even if the weather is inclement.

Parking: There is a carpark at the track, fee = £1.00 per hour. But there is plenty of on street parking. The red route on Eltham Road is not operational on a Sunday.

Access to the venue is either via the main entrance, but the gate from the carpark into the track should be open.
