The Steve Truntich Memorial Foundation
In honor of our friend, Steve Truntich, who passed away of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2015, we deliver Easter Baskets to the children's hospitals in Orlando.
Steve Truntich Memorial Foundation
Steve Truntich was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma late November 2013 and spent that Thanksgiving in the hospital recovering from his first surgery. It was the following year he started the Easter Basket effort to make sure all the children in the surgical areas of Florida Hospital had a small piece of joy when they and their families had to be in the hospital over the holiday.
In honor of Steve, we are carrying on the tradition for the seventh year.
You can participate by making a donation in the form of monetary contributions, gift cards and gift items. We will be organizing work nights to build baskets in March. Please contact the organizer for information on making physical donations and watch this page for updates on events to build baskets.
Thank you to everyone who has supported this effort with Steve in the past. Although we lost Steve in May 2015, the best way to celebrate his life is to continue “paying it forward” by helping those that are struggling with battles often harder than our own.
