⁉️ FAQ for the Advanced Beginners Crochet Class THIS Saturday at Thrive Local 👏🏾

1. 🤔 What do I need to know before I take this class?
How to do the slip knot, chain, and single crochet :) If you took my Beginner Crochet Class, and practiced, you'll be ready for this one~

2. 🧶 Do I need to bring materials?
If you already have a crochet hook and yarn, feel free to bring it! BUT, I will also bring materials just in case you don't have any.

3.❔ What will I learn in this class?
The half double crochet stitch, double crochet stitch, and how to change colors with your yarn.

4. 🎟️ How much is a ticket?
$35, and you can buy them from the link on this event page. If you can't find the link, comment below and I'll give it to you. There are only 10 seats available :)

5. ✨ What age group is this for?
Anyone who has patience, lol. I usually say 9 or 10 and up. If you are under 16, please have a guardian with you :)

🧶 CROCHET RETREAT 🌊 I think we need to plan a crochet retreat at Rainbow Springs in Florida 👀 David and I went for our 4th anniversary two weeks ago, and it was amazing.

😊 It's TIME! I'm looking for pattern testers for my Mini Wanderlust Bandana Crochet Pattern!
I had to redo the pattern a few different times to get it right, but I think it's almost perfect! I just need some of you amazing crocheters to make sure that it is!

This is an intermediate pattern with lots of beautiful stitches and SOOOO many pictures to help you along the way. You'll need 90 grams of Light (3) Yarn and a 3.5mm crochet hook. It works up in less than a day!

I used Lion Brand Yarn Coboo, which is cotton and bamboo. It's lovely, but can split when you're working with it, so that can be a little annoying 🤣 BUT, I would use it again and again! My friend Featherly Crafts told me about it, and I'm glad she did!

I'll be out of town Thursday thru Sunday for my anniversary, so I will be choosing testers on Monday! The pattern test will be due two weeks after that - 7/29/2024 - just in case I have to make changes to the pattern~

I am realizing more and more that I love teaching. It's crazy cause I used to want to be a math or art teacher, but I let that die for a few reasons.

🥰 There's so much to say about my FIRST in person crochet class! I'm so grateful for everyone who came, and shoutout to my mom for driving 3 hours to be there for support ♥️

Everyone learned the basics of crochet: slip knot, chain, and single crochet. We all laughed, learned, and had such a great time!

This was such an unforgettable experience for me and something I want to do again and again. It was such an amazing feeling to be able to teach something I loved to wonderful people who were eager to learn.

I made sure to show everyone one on one how to do everything and went around the table more times than I could count 🤣. They all went home with info on how to keep learning and practicing, and Patti won the Giveaway!

I'm going to make every class better and better, so I hope to see you at the next one if you're local and want to learn!
