Cyber Thunder Racing League
Racing 3 Nights a week on the iRacing.com simulator. The league quickly grew from 1 series to 2 as the first season came to a close. Well, FIRST, actually.
Cyber Thunder Racing League was first founded in April 2001 by Mike Rose, WildWilly, who was tired of racing on the open Papyrus servers and wanted to spice things up. He began recruiting people as he was racing on the servers and the maiden voyage of (what then wasn't even called) Cyber Thunder Racing League set sail with a green flag with just 6 drivers present on April 29th, 2001. - RICHARDSON DOMINATES AT HOMESTEAD -
Cody Richardson put on a clinic in the Wheels 4 Warriors USA Pro Cup Series season opener! After a caution on lap one, the race stayed clean and green for the duration. Adam Pettet, the pole sitter, had a great night and finished in second. John Ross had a steady, methodical race and brought his car home in third place. Next week the Wheels 4 Warriors USA Pro Cup Series heads to Atlanta Motorspeedway.
- GRAY WINS IN RETURN TO CTRL -
Cole Gray won the season opener at Daytona in the Elswick eSports Rising Stars Series in his first race back at Cyber Thunder! Gray captured the win in a caution free race, scoring LongShot Motorsports’ second win this week. Caleb Elswick finished in 2nd and newcomer Larry Bruner finished in third.

- TURNER WINS SEASON OPENER -
Paul Turner won the season opening race at Daytona in the Tuesday Night Thunder Series presented by Down -N- Out Paintshop! In a green/white/checkered finish, Turner edged out Joey Sines in a drag race to pick up his first win of the season. Garry Bowman rounded out the top 3.
This was a very clean race with a full field of 40 drivers. ”The big one” was the only caution of the night that set up the green/white/checkered finish.

Tomorrow’s starting lineup for the 3rd Annual Cyber 500 at Daytona! Jerry Isaacs won Duel #1 and Joey Sines won Duel #2. Cody Richardson and Dave Sanders will be leading the field to the green flag at 12 pm EST! Cole Gray, Kory Sherman, and Stephen Musick missed qualifying so they will start at the rear of the field.

Qualifying for the 3rd annual Cyber 500 was last night. We had 42 drivers set a qualifying time. The Duels are tomorrow night starting at 7 pm EST. Here are your starting lineups for tomorrow night!
The 3rd annual Cyber 500 is this week! Qualifying is Wednesday 2/15, The Duels are on Friday 2/17, and the main event is on Saturday 2/18!

- PHINNEMORE CLAIMS CHAMPIONSHIP -
Coleridge Phinnemore takes the Wheels 4 Warriors U.S.A. Pro Cup Series championship with a win at Auto Club! After being involved in a lap 1 caution, Phinnemore battled back to win the race and the championship. Congratulations to Cody Richardson, Carter Lawson, and Dave Sanders for making it to the championship four and having great seasons!
- MIOK PICKS UP THIRD WIN, PETERS WINS TITLE -
Stephen “The Caboose” Miok finished the Elswick eSports Rising Stars Series season by scoring his third win of the season. With the win, Miok jumped Garrett Johnston in the final points standings to finish second overall while Johnston finishes the season third overall.
Lilith Peters finished off her incredible season by being crowned the champion! She won five races this season and only finished outside the top ten four times. Congratulations to Lilith on a dominant season and becoming an Elswick eSports Rising Stars Series Champion!
- CARR WINS AT PHOENIX, MEADOWS WINS CHAMPIONSHIP -
Jaxon Carr dominated at the K Bar-N-Grill Tuesday Night Thunder season finale at Phoenix! Carr started from the pole and led the most laps, putting the entire league on notice for next season.
Cody Meadows finished in 2nd place, but brings home the hardware! After an impressive run through the scrambler series, Meadows passed fellow championship four driver Jerry Isaacs late in the race and did not relent the position. This is Meadows’ first league title. Congratulations on a great season to both Cody and the other championship contenders: Jerry Isaacs, Caleb Elswick, and Crank Bell!
Meet your 2023 Season One Wheels 4 Warriors USA Pro Cup Series drivers! Team captains will select one Division 2 driver and two Division 3 drivers. Draft order will be determined by the finishing order of the 2023 Cyber 500 race. The draft will take place February 23rd starting at 8 pm EST. Congratulations to the drivers and we can’t wait to see you all out on track next season!
- PHINNEMORE WINS TO ADVANCE -
Coleridge Phinnemore wins at Richmond to advance to the Wheels 4 Warriors USA Pro Cup Series championship round! The race was dominated by Kyle Nadeau who led for most of the night from the pole position and came in second place. Cody Richardson rounds out the podium positions with a third place finish.

Dave Sanders advances to the next round of the playoffs with a win tonight at Daytona. Cody Richardson, Jarrett Kiemele, Matt Hall, and Chris Wheeler round out tonight’s top 5. Come tune in next Thursday as the Wheels 4 Warriors USA Pro Cup Series round of 12 continues at Sonoma!
- JUSTIN HORTON WINS AT ATLANTA -
Justin Horton won the opening round of the Elswick ESports Rising Stars Series at Atlanta Superspeedway. With the win he takes over the points lead as the drivers head to Rockingham next week. Tune in next Wednesday at 7:45 pm ET on the Cyber Thunder Broadcast Network on YouTube!
- KYLE NADEAU WINS OPENING ROUND OF SCRAMBLER SERIES -
Kyle Nadeau wins at Richmond to open the K Bar ‘N’ Grill Tuesday Night Thunder Series playoffs. Twelve drivers were reduced to ten as Ed Yurgin and Adam Pettet were eliminated from contention after having a great regular season, but unfortunately luck did not go their way this evening. Next week the drivers will make their way to Las Vegas where ten drivers will be reduced to nine. Tune into the Cyber Thunder Broadcast Network on YouTube next Tuesday at 7:45 pm to watch the next round!

The Wheels 4 Warriors USA Pro Cup has their first repeat winner of the season, with #64 Cody Richardson playing the fuel strategy to pick up the win at Watkins Glen!!!
Race #4 in the Elswick E-Sports Rising Stars Series and #61 Caleb Elswick backed up their win in the trucks at Daytona and now a win with the Xfinity car!!!
Phinnemore holds off the field
The Wheels 4 Warriors USA Pro Cup series debut the Next-Gen in a caution filled race. Coleridge took home the checkered flag holding off stars like Cody Richardson, Trevor Ryan and Kyle Nadeau. This star studded field looks to put on a great show next week at Texas.
Brandon Key Dominates the opener
Brandon Led the most laps in a dominate debut in the Elswick E-Sports Rising Stars Series. The field has been put on notice that Brandon is here to take home the hardware. With an expanded field this promises to be the best season yet for the Rising Stars.
Caleb Elswick takes home the win in the season opener of the K-Bar-N-Grill Tuesday Night Thunder. He had to navigate a full field and 4 cautions to get the job done. Running third coming to the last lap he found a way.

DIMAGGIO MAKES THE CHAMPIONSHIP 4!
Frank DiMaggio was in a must-win situation Thursday night in the final cut race before the championship in the Wheels 4 Warriors USA Pro Cup series. He entered the race 26 points back on the cut line and managed to seal the deal with a win at Talladega Superspeedway. One race remains and the only place to catch the action is Cyber Thunder Racing League on YouTube. Tune in next Thursday evening to see who walks away with the championship!

STIVERSON LOCKS DOWN THE CHAMPIONSHIP!
Mike Stiverson brought home win number 7 tonight at Richmond Raceway and with it he secures his first championship at Cyber Thunder Racing League! The driver of the #20 machine just edged out the #51 of Jerry Isaacs for the win in an epic battle of tires vs fuel strategy. While the championship may be locked up there is still one more race remaining in the Rising Stars Series at Homestead-Miami Speedway. CTRL is a laid back, relaxed atmosphere that friends come together to race at. However, when practice ends, so do the games and we compete against more than other drivers, we compete against our friends week in and week out.
