This week Whittier had so much fun dancing it out with Afrochique!!

This week, we have two partners. UMPD is coming to work with Whittier little buddies and Riverdale little buddies are visiting the fire station!

Little Buddies had the BEST time with Epsilon Eta learning all about the environment, recycling, composing and planting seeds!! 🌱🌸🪴

Tuesday, we have our mentor development session with Whittier mentors. Wednesday, .eta.umd is back to work with Riverdale!

Riverdale had a BLAST with Pandemonium this week!!!

Whittier Little Buddies had the best time with Pandemonium (an on-campus acapella group) yesterday! 🎤🎶

Tomorrow, we have tour guides coming to help our little buddies learn about the campus! We are so excited to see our Riverdale buddies for their first activity day on Wednesday!

This week we’re so excited for .eta.umd to be our partner with Whittier activity on Tuesday. Then, Wednesday will be Riverdale’s first activity day!

From connecting with leaders from other chapters to getting to go to a Colts game, our Exec had the best time attending National Conference in Indianapolis this weekend! So pumped for our next year yet!!💚

We had a great last activity this week and we can’t wait to see our returning buddies and mentors again in the fall! We made so many memories this year and we hope they stay with you all.

Thank you to our amazing little buddies, mentors, and staff for a fantastic year! To our fifth graders, have a great time in middle school. We will miss you all!

This week we are partnering with the Heart Disease Awareness Association in order to teach our little buddies and mentors how to keep our hearts healthy and why it’s so important!

We’re in the FINAL stretch of fundraising in these coming weeks!! We’re only 3K AWAY from reaching our chapter’s goal of $20,000!! If we hit it, we’ll get the little buddies tshirts!! Our little buddies loved sharing their dream jobs and learning about their mentors’ career paths!

Our little buddies had an awesome time sharing what exciting future aspirations they have for their careers and learning about mentors’ majors & career plans after graduation at activity this Tuesday!

We had an awesome time partnering with this past week at the UMD Hillel!! Little buddies got to help support their community by braiding and decorating challah that then got baked and sold with the proceeds being donated to an organization that fights food insecurity! Little buddies also go to talk about and share what family, cultural, and religious traditions they do!!

We had a buzzing Whittier activity this week with the beekeeping club!! Little Buddies learned all about bees, endangered species, and how to ‘bee’ kind to the environment 🐝 🌸
