Summer Nail Inspiration ...

Ok so ladies, as you’re all aware I posted a few weeks for models - the response was immense!

However I’ve now been let down by 4 people. Genuine excuses or not, I am running a business. Before you roll your eyes and click off this post just know this...

I am a single mum (most can relate) I run two businesses and earn very little per year from both of them. I work out of pride and self respect but most importantly to provide for my growing family. I balance my work life with being a part time university student & a magistrate too, so I know what it’s like to be busy trust me! But it is down right disrespectful to my small business to not even respond at least to a confirmation of appointment message let alone not even turn up.
A simple message to suggest you are unable to make your appointment or to re-arrange would be suffice. These appointments were already booked at a discounted rate so not only am I losing out on full paying clients, I’m losing ones that even receive a treatment for less than half the normal price!

So if you’ve got this far, thank you for taking the time to read, and if you are one of those people who don’t turn up to appointments like these, just think like this. Imagine you’re due to go into work tomorrow, you turn up to do your job but your boss says he doesn’t need you to work today and also you won’t be getting paid. Not fair is it? This is exactly what happens with my business and new clients week in, week out.

I hope those of you who don’t have the respect to cancel or even acknowledge a message from me never have to deal with this should you decide to start a new business.

Thank you to those who have bothered to message to say they’re unable to make their appointment in good time and thank you to those who have already willingly modelled 🙂
