Minto is well known for its many talented musicians. We are thrilled to be presenting a special tribute to the Minto Country Music Wall of Fame as part of our Saturday show on the Tiny Trails stage! 🎶
The Wall of Fame has been a staple in the community since 1999. The wall celebrates the rich musical history of the Minto/Chipman area and has many inductees whose pictures are on proud display in the Municipal building. The tribute show will take place on Saturday with several inductees performing, including Eddie Richard, Wanda Grant, Jon Fidler, and Melvin Fraser!
The Trail Folk Festival will make a donation from this show to the Wall of Fame to help support their ongoing efforts to keep the Wall thriving for generations to come. Join us to celebrate the rich musical history of the area and to enjoy these immensely talented inductees!✨
Tickets to this show get you a FULL day of music at the Tiny Trails stage, for just $25! Get ‘em before they’re gone!🎟️
Our website is always being updated with new information. Check it out. In the meantime, we are really excited to be heading to NS again! Pass this around to your friends around the province. This is an incredible bash, and we are so thankful to be a part of it this year!
Thank you to Larry and Pat for being the great people they are. They don't make them like you guys anymore!
The Seed of HGB
Carla’s Country Mile is the signature show of HGB Canada, starting out in Fredericton New Brunswick showcasing local talent live on the air. The show traveled to venues and offered in studio guests a weekly spot to bring their music to a new audience. The show is about the long process it can take for indie artists to earn their stripes as serious musicians with something to bring to the listening table of audiences. Have you ever walked a country mile? The show will be crowned with a new name Carla’s Coffee House in order to better reflect the interviewees.
The show, although not exclusively promoting country music, dives into more than just the music of the artists that are interviewed, it digs into the lighter and sometimes more heavy side of what drives artists in their creation of art.
CCM has interviewed artists from all over Canada including Taw Connors (the son of the iconic Stompin Tom Connors), Free to Grow (Fredericton NB), Bree Taylor (Toronto, ON), and the awesome Amanda Jackson Band (PEI), just to name a few! The tradition continues as CCM moves forward in the next few months. Stay tuned as Carla’s Coffee House to continue the tradition!
