And what’s better than homemade icecream that too in a bag!!
Yes you heard it right in a bag.
Ahaan was truly shocked at this. At first he doubted me with all the liquid ingredients and when he started shaking his bag and peeked inside he was amazed!!
It is so easy to make it at home and is a fun activity for a kid.
Go check out the recipe in the video. It’s just perfect for a hot summer day!!

Children will listen to you after they feel listened to !! True !!
I came across a very beautiful post by Kids First Montessori today!! Thought of sharing with you all.
There is a saying Silence is golden unless you have a toddler, in that case Silence is Suspicious!!
Every school year, firefighters and teachers do their part in educating children about the dangers of fire, and what to do if ever there's a fire in their home.
It happened in Ahaan’s school today. He was so happy as he got the opportunity to be the part of it and also the one to sit and observe the fire truck from within.
The very first question I was asked by my son was do we have a fire alarm in the house. I said Yes... then came the second one.. Mumma do we have any other exit? I Asked why? He replied that the fireman has told them to take the exit if there is fire.. I said okk but Ahaan do you know how to call them? He said yes mumma.. it’s 911.. I was so happy that he learned so much. He also told me how friendly the fireman was and how he taught them with such precision.
Thanks to Kids First Montessori for arranging such a program. I would also like to thank all the teachers and specially Ms Madhavi for taking this initiative.

Throughout the years, there has been a great deal of research done about the optimal times for children to learn new skills.
Age-appropriate learning is all about adapting to a child's level of understanding, identifying the readiness of a child to learn, and then following the best-suited method of Teaching.
The learning does not start at school but we can incorporate some small task at home for our kids to incorporate learning. Here I have compiled some basic activities which are age appropriate to improve their motor skills, concentration and enhancing their personality.

After the lot of energy that I put everyday for making a great day for my family, it seems like such a waste to end the night with any negative feeling. I know the interaction that I make with my son is going to linger with him throughout the night or maybe next day.
The end of the day is quite a valuable time to connect with them and these are few activities that you can try with your kids to have a fun ended day.
It might look silly but I am sure you are going to have a blast and believe me it work wonders!!
Happy Parenting!!
Nothing deadly, nothing scary, just tricks, treats and a bag full of candy. May you all have a creepy Halloween night!
When you let your kid sleep in your bed!!
I thought we had just begun, why are you growing up so fast??
Look how cutely you wanted to pose for this picture.
The phrase “Growing up” seems both so totally true and false at the same time because in the day to day of it nothing seems fast at all. Making you eat your lunch or dinner seems like eternity and putting you to sleep still feels a lifetime!!
And yet everyone say so!!
I would love to hold you in my arms a little longer now because there is already a little boy at my baby’s place and one day not far in future , there will be an older boy, a teenager and then a young man!!
Story of every mother!!!!
What will sink and what will float?
Today I decided to do some fun learning experiment with Ahaan.
This sinking and floating activity gives kids an opportunity to put their knowledge about density to the test.
The activity builds basic scientific skills by having children make predictions, test their predictions, and then record the results of their tests in an organized fashion.
Ahaan started predicting what will float or sink and then checked after putting it in the water. It was a hand on experience for him which he really enjoyed.
I try everyday to make his learning fun and enjoyable. So what are you waiting for? Try this simple activity at home with your toddlers and let them use their brain power.
Follow my instagram page for more such videos.
Make learning fun and enjoyable with these fun activities. What are you waiting for ?

So happy to see our little one growing so fast. Share your little one’s encouraging videos.
Recently Ahaan has started his swimming classes and I am so proud of him doing so good for the start. Sometimes he comes to me with the excuse of not going in the water as he does not like water on his face..true for everykid.
I explained him in a beautiful way .. "The water is your friend...you don't have to fight with water, just share the same spirit as the water, and it will help you move."
I am pretty sure he must not have understood what I said as he is just 3.5 years old. But one day He will.
Thank you for developing his self confidence.
Cycling and childhood goes hand in hand, whether its a tricycle, or a bicycle with the supporting wheels. It is one such exercise that your kid might not even realise they’re doing.
It is important for improving the brain and the muscle power and the fact is that it does not involve much of technical skills.
So What are you waiting for? Do not let your child’s favourite bike sit in the garage. Take it out and help make it your child’s hobby!!
The very first question he asked me when he came from school. Do I help you Mumma? I replied yes. He started clapping and told me I am a super hero. They help!! Such a nice concept.
Recently Ahaan’s schoolChildren First Montessori conducted the super hero theme as a part of the summer camp.Such a brilliant way to teach the little kids, good values and traits, a human being should possess.
What are you waiting for? Bring in a cape. Write your child's name on it and the qualities your child possess. Let them be the super hero of their own imaginative world.
