It’s finally got me! 😩
I’ll be having a break for a few days and isolating as per gov.uk recommendations.
Now who’s going to nurse the nurse when the nurse has COVID. (Good tongue twister there)

👵🏻 I took my Nan out at the weekend!!
She was unimpressed with my ripped jeans….. apparently they need to be sewn up and I’m going to get cold!!! ( followed by lots of muttering, eye rolling and head shaking)
…..

I don’t think they are that bad!!???
😹

!
📌 We do visits either in our uniforms or own clothes when we take clients out - whatever they prefer. (maybe not these jeans then hey) 🤣

⚠️UPDATE ON COVID 19 guidance changes! ⚠️

As of today … the main points!

📍 There is no longer a LEGAL requirement to self isolate (vaccinated or unvaccinated)
📍Those with the main (cardinal) symptoms of COVID-19 are ADVISED to stay home, avoid contact with others and take a PCR test.
📍Contacts of COVID-19 cases who unvaccinated no longer have to self isolate.
📍Test and trace/Contact tracing will end today and contacts of positive cases will no longer need to complete daily testing (lateral flow)

⚠️If positive for COVID-19 ⚠️
📍 You are ADVISED to stay home for at least 5 days, until you have two negative lateral flow tests on two consecutive days from day 5 onwards.
📍 You are ADVISED not to meet people at higher risk of becoming seriously unwell from COVID-19 for 10 days.

💙!!Heath and Social care settings and workers!!💙
📍 Asymptomatic testing will continue for those working/living in health and social care settings.
📍Due to the high risk nature or health and social care settings (hospitals, care homes etc) the advice for staff members working in these setting hasn’t changed.

Hope that’s helps.

Aimee. 💙

Morning all ! 💙
I often get asked, what is a carer? Are you a carer? How are you different to a carer.
So I’m going to put together some helpful information about the difference between carers and nurses. 💙
Below is photo of a book I’m reading to my daughter….. it did make me laugh.
We haven’t got far in…. But it has a character in it which (I think) lives in a residential home called ‘twilight towers’ !!! 😊🤣🤣 love it!

“Caring for your unwanted old folk” is the tagline for the home!!! Did make me smile! With the delightful nurses pictured below!! 👩🏼‍⚕️
Have a lovely day!
