❄️ OUT NOW ❄️
So here it is… another album!
‘Leo Bargery Live at the CCA, Glasgow’ is out right now, go and stream it on Spotify or grab a copy via Last Night From Glasgow
🎧 https://open.spotify.com/album/1rRv0csUNsZFTDkLKft6HQ?si=sj33hR1EQYyN_b32_Af4Ew
The record is ultimately a live recording from a show I did earlier this year at CCA Glasgow is front of an amazing audience; just me at the piano. There are some songs in there that you might recognise…
At the record’s core are a handful of songs that came from the bundles I wrote and honed throughout the Covid years and my lockdown livestreams so I felt that performing them alone and recording them live was the best way to keep the spirit of them going… maybe I’ll revisit them some day
But for now, I hope you enjoy my wee collection of new songs. Share them far and wide, grab a CD; your support means the world

🍂 NEW ALBUM (from Leo) 🍂
Finally I can (very) happily tell you that my first ever solo release, “Live at The CCA, Glasgow” will be released into the world, on November 25th, on limited edition CD via the good folks at Last Night From Glasgow✨(a digital release will soon be confirmed!)
Pre order now: https://shop.lastnightfromglasgow.com/products/leo-bargery-live-at-glasgows-cca
Earlier this year I sat down on stage at the CCA in front of a wonderful, attentive crowd and recorded a collection of brand new songs which I had written throughout the lockdowns and the tentative days emerging back into the world that followed…
It’s a sombre, wordy and (I hope) atmospheric wee bundle of songs and I’m delighted to be able to be putting them out into the world at last. The encore of Mt. Doubt and Winter Moves songs may have been included too… 👀
I hope you will help me share the word about it and may even be tempted to pre-order a CD…
As I’ve always said… quietly, slowly, still here!
Thanks + Peace, Leo x
This evening 🖤
Well hi.
I’ll be playing alongside the excellent, Adam Ross at Edinburgh’s Voodoo Rooms (Speakeasy) on Thursday 22/09.
I’ll be testing out new songs aplenty, so come on down to critique me in real-time. I might even bring score cards.
Tickets available now - https://bit.ly/3olgWCQ

Looking forward to a new era 👀
This page, formerly Mt. Doubt, will soon operate as my own musical platform as ‘Leo Bargery’!
I hope you will stick around to see what is to come from solo things and from my other upcoming musical ventures…
For all updates you’d be best served by sticking around. I hope you will
Leo x
The ascent is complete ⛰
…And just like that, eight years has sidled by. It’s been exceptional.
The music won’t stop, but sadly the time has come for Mt. Doubt to wind down. This project, which has been the main focus of my life for so long, has served its purpose.
I’ve learned so much about music and creativity and perseverance and how to be a better writer and I’m really grateful for all of that. I’m excited to carry it into what comes next (I think it’s too late to get an office job now, sorry mum).
We’ve had some incredible experiences in this band… from playing the TBreak stage at T in the Park in 2016 and performing live sessions for the BBC Quay Sessions and Vic Galloway to getting paid a fiver to play to three people (promoter included) in the basement of Brighton’s least-favourite North African restaurant; we’ve had the best time, even during the worst times.
The music will always be there should you wish to hear it and there will be new music incoming from new directions make no mistake (soon I promise).
Until then, unending thanks have to go to Neil Wilson at Scottish Fiction for his belief and absolute tenacity in supporting me, to Ian Smith and all at Last Night From Glasgow for carrying us onward and being so excited by possibilities and ideas, and to every single person who has listened, watched and spread the good word of Doubt.
Quietly, slowly, still here.
For one last time… thanks + peace,
from Leo x

Well, Friday night was quite something!
Sometimes music can be demoralising, and sometimes it can all feel a little futile, but when I was on stage on Friday, it reaffirmed, absolutely, why this is what I do.
Thank-you so much to everyone who came out to watch me play and record my songs. It really means everything.
Thank-you to Last Night From Glasgow for believing in the project and putting up with me
Thank-you to the CCA Glasgow for hosting the event and making sure it all ran so smoothly!

✨ NEW ALBUM + NEW SHOW ✨
I’m really (really) excited to be playing a solo piano show at Glasgow’s CCA on Friday, April 22nd.
This will be my first ever solo headline show and it would really mean the world to see friendly faces in the audience for this!
Inspired by the live-streams I came to rely on and enjoy during the lockdowns, I will be performing a collection of brand-new, unheard songs which will be recorded live, on the night.
This will then be turned into a brand new album on limited edition LP by the good people of Last Night From Glasgow!

Home again! ⛰
What a week it’s been, travelling across this beautiful country alongside one of the very best songwriters I know, Adam Ross.
From Braemar’s Village Hall to The Market Bar in Inverness, from the Skye Bridge Studios to the BBC Radio nan Gàidheal Studios in Stornoway and winding up at The Bandstand Bar in Nairn…
We have been well and truly spoiled by lovely audiences, generous hosts and friends old and new!
It’s been affirming stuff. Now it’s time to sleep.
Thanks + Peace, x
Thanks, as ever, to the good people of Rapal on BBC Radio nan Gàidheal for having Adam and I in to record a session this afternoon.
It’s a pleasure to be visiting the Isle of Lewis for the first time! 🌊
We’ll be in Nairn tomorrow starting early at 17:00 down at the Bandstand Bar!
See you there! Thanks + Peace, x
Thanks so much to Skye Bridge Studios for having us down last night! ✨ It’s always a real treat to play for such attentive and generous audiences!
