Competition in the auto sector is increasing with new companies coming into the market and to maintain their market share, Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC) is introducing some new vehicles in Pakistan and one of them is reportedly a new compact SUV Toyota RAV4.
About the Toyota RAV4
Toyota RAV4 will feature a 2.4 lire engine and is also said to have a hybrid variant that will be launched with a 1.8 litre engine but will be equivalent to a 2.4 litre engine being a hybrid.
This certainly puts it above the competition since KIA Sportage comes with a 2.0 litre engine and the Hyundai Tucson is also said to have a 2.0 litre engine.

The Khunjerab Pass is the highest-paved international border crossing in the world and the highest point on the Karakoram Highway. The roadway across the pass was completed in 1982, and has superseded the unpaved Mintaka and Kilik Passes as the primary passage across the Karakoram Range. The choice of Khunjerab Pass for Karakoram Highway was decided in 1966: China citing the fact that Mintaka would be more susceptible to air strikes recommended the steeper Khunjerab Pass instead.
