Nerdish Delights
Crocheted goods for nerds and geeks.
That feeling when you finish the back panel of a cardigan only to discover you missed a stitch 16 rows in 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
I made this as a birthday present for a friend, and I love how it turned out. The pattern is by Pixel Perfect Patterns on Etsy, and I added the Tommy quote to go with it. The backstitching makes the design pop 🥰
Now that my cuddly xenomorph has made its way overseas, I can share it! Pattern by
I started this last year as a Christmas present for my best friend, though I didn’t finish it until April or May. I finally got around to mailing it to her, so now I can post it here! Pattern is from CandyCorgiPatterns on Etsy ❤️
Big Man is taking shape!
Page one of Big Man from Splatoon 3 is done. Backstitching is definitely gonna happen.
I’ve finally finished the pattern for my Final Frontier Shawl! It’s taken a few years, but it’s done and available in my Etsy and Ravelry stores.
My daughter is right into Splatoon 3, so I decided to make her a Big Man piece. I definitely don’t want to use his name in the tags 😝 it’s so good being creative again.
I finally got around to washing, ironing, and framing my Witcher piece that I finished last year. I’ll have to take more pictures once it’s up on the wall and there’s less glare, but I’m very happy with how it looks.
I used dressmaking pins to keep it in place, then stitched the corners together for extra support. I used some double sided tape for mounting, so I hope it stays in place! It’s my first time trying to frame something like this, so I think I did alright.
I ordered this super cute and delicious cake from for my daughter’s birthday. She loved it!
I’m working on a piece for my daughter, her favourite SCP character, 173 (also known as “The Sculpture” or “Peanut”). He’s coming along slowly, but I’m getting there!
The Fat Mermaid (from Stardew Valley), pattern by ChocoCocoStitch on Etsy.
Now the gifts have been received I can post my latest pieces! This pattern is by HelensCrossing on Etsy.
All the maths you know are wrong. 30cm is really 9” 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ No wonder the centimetre measurement was right but the inches was wrong. Time to buy a new tape!
For the first time in months, I picked up my cross stitch again. I hope this is the start of getting my creative mojo back.
Things have been rough over the last few months, with little crafting going on. But I’ve moved and things are definitely getting better, so I ordered more Aida and floss for me to get started on my next two projects and to finish the ones I’m currently working on. Gotta have a few WIPs, right? I love ordering through
