Retro Rustic Beach Bench! I made this bench for my son and daughter-in-law to display at their new place in San Clemente beach, in the hopes to draw attention to my one of a kind benches, made to replicate a 50ās -60ās long surfboards theme!
The top wood is made from an old swimming pool patio deck from the 80ās with cedar and treated pine, the legs actually came from the railing inserts from an old restaurant in Big Bear, Ca. The rest of the wood is all salvaged! The palm tree is hand painted and outlined with a wood burning tool. I used 3 coats of water based satin exterior clear for the finish! Iām thinking of creating a few more beach themed benches. š¤šš
