The Rosenbalm Menagerie
The misadventures of all our four legged children! photos of our pets.
While Daddy's away, the Piggy Boys will explore!
More Jack and Gus. While Jack is sort of shy, Gus is extremely shy! He hides the minute I walk into the room.
I can't remember if all the new piggy boys have been introduced. On the left and mostly white is Jack. Multicolored on the right is Gus.
Welcome to the family boys!
It's like Mack, the guinea pig, is telling Bogey, the much bigger rabbits, "It's ok little guy, I'll take care of you."
Brotherly love.
The Menagerie is saddened to announce that our little warrior, Apache Rosenbalm has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. He fought so strong and for so long, the will is strong but the flesh is weak. Please tell all your brothers and sisters that we miss them and love them as much as we love you. You weren't with us long but you just took up residence in our hearts. We love you buddy, enjoy all the crackers, kale, carrots and lettuce over there. Rest in peace my Big Boy.
Say hello to Mack and Jack! We're back in the guinea pig game. Mack on the left, Jack on the right. Mack's the adventurous one, Jack prefers to keep to home. Welcome to the new piggie boys!
This is why once I get up, I usually can't go back to bed. And yes, I'm the one that covered them up. 😁
Callie-fornia dreaming.
Introducing the newest addition to the Menagerie, young Bogie Rosenbalm!
Lazy Sunday evening.
The Menagerie is once again saddened to announce the passing of one of its own. Bean AKA Be**er AKA Beenie We**ie passed away today Sunday, July 30th. Bean wasn't fond of photographs, he was always on the move. Energetic and friendly, "The Littlest Rosenbalm" ran straight into our hearts. Crawl over the rainbow bridge and tell those already gone on that we miss them. We miss and love you Bean!
Our first girl. Gone but not forgotten. Never forgotten!
The Menagerie is wishing young Prince Cooper a Happy Eighth Birthday! Always love for our boy!
The Menagerie is saddened to announce Clark Kent Rosenbalm has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge, today Thursday April 13th. Our Clark Boy was the more reserved one of him and his brother Bruce. Clark was happy to let Bruce take the lead and just enjoy the results. After Bruce passed, Clark finally found his voice and would chirp his loudest at dinner time. And whenever his Dad was running a bit late with dinner. We hope Bruce was waiting for you there. Fly high little man. Please tell Bruce we miss him and now you as well. We love you both and will always have a piggy boys sized hole in our hearts.

Completely staged photo of Callie but still cute. 😁

Lazy Bruno. 😁
It's been a busy week and I haven't really had to Introduce the newest member of the Menagerie. Say hello to Apache Rosenbalm. His middle name might be Sun or Chief, that's still being decided. I love to have different photos of our kids and I knew this was one I wanted when I saw him doing it. He's an older English Lop and he's now living at his retirement home. Say hello to our new little old man.
Lazy Sunday evening using Daddy's leg as a pillow.
Welcome Bruno Tiberius Rosenbalm to the Menagerie!
The Menagerie is saddened to announce that our precious Ginger Rosenbalm has crossed over the rainbow bridge.
Ginger AKA "Gingy" (like the Sinatra song) was a vivacious and curious girl. She would go through the house, notice any changes and then proceed to log them into her memory. Such a smart girl and always showing it. She was afraid of nothing and took no guff off anyone, including us!
We had her in a playpen for a while, next to the dining table. One night I heard a noise and turned on the light to find her up on the table! As you can see, she loved to get on tables and other things she wasn't supposed to be on. She used to jump on the living room table and watch TV. We swear she was following the programs!
Her health had gone down the past while. Many of you may remember we had to have one of her rear legs removed after a bad break. She kept on keeping on and going around the house. But now, all four of her legs are fine, she's eating all the kale and crackers that she wants and playing with Bruce and Frosty. I'm sure she's found somebody to chase after also. Hop on sweet tough girl, we love and miss you!!
