Many fans have asked when the Lost at Sea rarities set is officially coming out ~ (Bless you for continuing to care about this esoteric phantom I’ve been promising for so long!) It’s been a slow process since the original 2020 digital teaser, mostly because I’ve continued to adjust the set / the mastering/ added a few new songs (including an outtake featuring Scarlet from Dharma Wheel!) I’ve just been trying to get it to the very best place it can be and I feel I’ve got it there.

Test pressings are on the deck and headed for production!

It will be some months away still but official announce/ preorder/ all that will follow probably in the fall.

Bullet Boys. 1988 Warner Brothers. NM/ VG+. $35 Vinyl so clean. Looks/ sounds like new. Jacket in very nice shape, was still living in open shrink till I took it out for pics. Little corner bump and a couple little indents on the jacket. insert in excellent shape.

TONIGHT 🔊I had the honor of being David Fricke's guest on his 'Writer's Block' show for Sirius XM + guest dj for the musical cuts. The show airs tonight! David and I discuss Howlin Rain, we nerd out on the tracks we chose for the show, the spiritual 'cathedral effect' of over the top unhinged guitar solos going wild, the natural outlaw-feminist power of Grace Slick, the drag queen style of Little Richard the inventor of rock and roll as we know it, the record that Link Wray went outsider Christian-LSD-back to nature on and an hour plus more along those lines.

By my estimation David Fricke and I have been rapping with each other about music and our musical obsessions for 17 years now and today I had the honor of stopping in in NYC and being the guest on his most excellent Writer’s Block Show~ We played tunes, talked about music, music life in and out of the pandemic, Howlin Rain and a whole host of other things. The show will probably air in the next few weeks, more info to come there. Always a pleasure and a deep soul booster to hang with David and get swept up in his brilliant musical knowledge. 🙌🏽💫

Exciting first day: van breaks down dead as a door nail 6hrs into trip to Virginia with two hours to go and 2h15m till soundcheck. Noble Virginia boy Jacob pulls over and loads us up and gear into his Dads pickup, dead rental abandoned side of the road and drives us the two hours to the gig in the rain. At soundcheck an unexpected lightning storm and torrential downpour begins to flood the front of stage. Eventually storm blows through and everyone lived happily ever after. Thank you Crowes crew for the help and radness, Atlantic Bank Pavilion same and especially to Jacob for saving the day!!! 🙌🏽

Let’s do it all again at Wolf Trap Vienna VA tonight!
