Austin High School Track & Field

Good luck Friday to these runners that will compete in the State Track Meet on Friday in Bloomington! What a great accomplishment in this non-classed sport for these young men. We are proud of you!
The team will get an es**rt out of town Friday around 1pm. Come out and wish them well!

What an awesome turn out for todays 5K. The Robbie Henson Memorial fund does so much to support the Austin XC and track programs. We appreciate the Henson family and their efforts to help young runners.

Brandon Rice placed 2nd in the 800 meter run and is a state qualifier with a time of 8:55.4!

AHS Boys 4x800 team is state bound with a 2nd place finish at Regional with a time of 8:01, beating their own school record!

Boys 4x800 meter relay just broke school and sectional records!! They are Sectional champs and regional bound! Times posted soon)

The Eagles and Lady Eagles track teams compete tonight in a 4 team meet at home. We will honor our seniors at 4;45pm.

Congratulations to the Lady Eagles 4x800m relay team on breaking the school record tonight at the North Harrison Invitational. The previous record was set in 2008.

The AHS track 3200m relay team finished in 3rd place out of the 31 teams competing at the Eastern Relays held at the University of Louisville track complex.

Tomorrow's meet is at Scottsburg at the middle school track!

AHS track has their season opener tomorrow (Tuesday) night at 5pm.
