Photographer and lover of life! Ask me why. Striving to live like Romans 12:12!
🫶Hello IG friends! It’s been a minute. I miss so many of you and all the incredible projects and colabs I’ve been a part of 📸 I miss showcasing your hard work through photography, but THIS oh this right here - these kids and that view - all a reflection of HIS blessings. 🌅 It’s been all kiddos since I went into “retirement” and I am soaking it all in. 👩👱♀️👶This is where I’m needed and this is where I will stay a bit longer. I do enjoy the glimpses into your worlds when I jump on the IG for a moment. Keep up the hard work! And if you’re a fellow Texan … you are strong and will persevere through this awful heat! 🤠
🚨Long post warning!🚨Re-entry into the freelance world after welcoming William into our family has been quite the roller coaster 🎢 The mom guilt, the career guilt, the well intentioned expectation for myself has been taxing. One part of me is pumped about getting back into showcasing other artists' and small business owners' projects through photography but another part of me is pulling me to dwell deeper into the lives of these littles. Patrick and I were blessed to have some time away to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary in February. TEN YEARS, wow has time flown. In a blink, it'll be another 10 years. The quiet trip away from the kids has reminded me just how special, how precious, and how fleeting time is. It would behove me to NOT press deeper into these kids' lives. With absolutely no guilt, and with total confidence, I'm retiring. I'm not quitting photography or art, I just won't be working for you. Maybe we can collaborate, for fun, and I may bring my oldest to teach her, but I won't be sending you an invoice. I'll still be posting from time to time images from past shoots. I still may jump on a set from time to time. I may one day be back at it. There's no plan for now, except to press into the calling I have for my family. With complete gratitude and humility, thanks for reading my longest yet most heartfelt post ever! If you are feeling this way too but aren't sure which direction you should go, I would love to chat! It is good to work, it is wonderful to have a family, the balance is often overwhelming. There's no clear path that works for everyone. We need each other more than ever! ❤️ I can't wait to see what remarkable work God is going to continue to do right in front of my eyes. His will is BETTER. Jeremiah 29:11
🌸 Spring is in the air! 🌼 Hello sunshine ☀️ Hello flowers 🌷And hello to the cutest little puppy 🐶
💖“Be our guest! Be our guest!
Put our service to the test
Tie your napkin 'round your neck, cherie
And we'll provide the rest
Soup du jour
Hot hors d'œuvres
Why, we only live to serve
Try the gray stuff, it's delicious
Don't believe me? Ask the dishes”💖
Who else loves revisiting all the Disney classics with their kids?! Beauty and the Beast 🥀 was always one of my favorites! 💛I see this image and that song pops into my mind! 🎶Beautiful design It’s the perfect blend of soft neutrals and subtle patters🍶 🎶 “Don’t believe me? Ask the dishes” 🎶💛☺️
💖Happy “Extended” Valentine’s Day💖 My day was jam packed with my little loves. School parties, park play dates, way too much candy, and a tired mama, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
My Valentine’s Day table looked more like heart pancakes and cutie orange slices… but one can dream about future Valentine’s Day looking a bit more like this 🥂 Gorgeous look by ❤️
🧼Clean kitchen, 🧺clean laundry, or 🥘 hot meals on the table? Let’s say you have a magical fairy🧚🏻♀️ that will do one of these tasks daily for you. Which would you choose? For me, a clean kitchen hands down! I CRAVE a spotless kitchen, I like to keep the laundry room closed, and I often order in (did I mention my husband loves to cook !!) 😉 So think about the free time I’d have if my kitchen was magically sparkly without lifting a finger 🥳
🧚Getting a little morning inspiration from this gorgeous kitchen I had the honor of photographing for & ✨
🌅She was 25, she came for a visit and never left. I can see why my Grandmother was so captivated by this Island. She worked at the naval station, met my Grandaddy who was an naval officer and taking out her roommate (LOL!!), they were married on Valentine’s Day 1953. What a time a time to live and she did so to the absolute fullest! They shared almost 40 years together and December 28, ‘21 she met our saviors in Heaven and was reunited with her handsome naval officer. I miss them both greatly but feel them both everywhere in this beautiful place! 🌅
🪞MIRRORS🪞I love them but photographing them can be 😵💫😖🤨 however some people say I’m a professional ☺️ and I’ve learned some tricks over the years 📸💪

To say we’re 💙Love Struck💙 would be an understatement. Will came into the world 6/13 and he has captured our hearts. Despite the sleep deprivation and reflux challenges, the joy we have felt this month as a family of 5 is immeasurable. I have a verse in his room reading “The Lord is with you Mighty Warrior” Judges 6:12 The message is our prayer for William but during the late night feedings that verse has spoken so loudly to me; “The Lord is with you mighty (Mommy!) Warrior. “ A mighty mama warrior I shall always be for you Will. I love you Will. I will never stop loving you. Never.
🎀🎀💙Yes I’ve been (quite willingly) a bit off the FB grid lately. These little ones are why. I have never been so acutely aware of just how quickly these little girls of mine are growing up.💖Don’t get me wrong, I love my job and work with some of the most talented, gracious, and pleasant people, but nothing compares to the raw joy of being the mother of these two and carrying our son🤰(due 6/10!!!). Full arms full heart! Swipe to really see my belly and the most amazing man who is our rock and strength (quite literally). Psalm 107:1 Give Thanks to the Lord; HIS love endures forever.
❤️❤️❤️
💜🤍✨Sparkle On✨🤍💜Let your light shine and may it be a contagious one!💫Beautiful room designed by and one of many gorgeous rooms you’ll see gracing the pages of her new book ‘Best of Show’📚 out in April! 🐶This pup’s got the right idea! We’re all ready for a little spring break! 🌺 Time to relax and unwind and how perfect is this spot for just that?!?☺️
🙌Decisive, confident decision making; when the options are endless, this is one trait I really admire in an interior designer.🧵 certain has that talent! How does she narrow down from all the striking options?!?💜💛🤍💚💙❤️🖤🤎🧡🧐
Speaking of decision making - I had to make a hard decision back in January as my pregnancy progressed. I overdid things a bit in the fall, and it became clear that I needed to take a step back with my workload! It’s been bittersweet but right for me and my family! We can’t wait to meet you little baby boy Roberts. During this time off I’ll be sharing some images, and soon I’ll be sharing photos of a little squishy faced newborn. 👶🏼 Can’t wait!! Thanks everyone for the well wishes and prayers. They are being heard. 🙏 Mama and baby are doing well!💙
