Today Race Walking made a big leap in the right direction. For the first time ever, the 1 Mile Race Walk was contested, resulting in a World Record from Great Britain's own, Tom Bosworth. Hopefully in the near future, more races like this are to come, including the first ever Women's Mile Race Walk in Diamond League.
Diamond League: Bosworth breaks world record, Farah wins again and Thompson triumphs in trainers Tom Bosworth set a new world record for the mile race walk at the London Anniversary Games on Sunday, while there were also notable wins for Elaine Thompson and Mo Farah.
