This evening over 30 scouts & scouters from Troops 342 & 2119 completed their “Stop the Bleed” training.
Huge thanks to the trauma team from University of Colorado Health for coming out and teaching us all.

Troop 2119 and Troop 342 Lakewood had a really great weekend!! It was a fun weekend filled with lots of fun and advancements. Thank you to all scouts and adults for making it a really great experience.

2022 marks two important anniversaries: the 50th anniversary of women in the Ranger Department and the 50th anniversary of the Service Academy program. For 50 years, women have shaped the Ranger Department for the better and the United States' military academies have sent students to serve as rangers, providing a valuable resource for Philmont and life-changing leadership experience for the students. Today we explore both of these anniversaries through stories from rangers who have seen Philmont in all its forms across these past five decades.

Troop 2119 completed their first High Adventure Trek this year! Twelve scouts, their fearless troop leaders and skilled wranglers along with 20 horses spent a week completing Cavalcade at the beautiful Philmont Scout Ranch.

Scouting takes you places! We'd love to meet you and take more girls on outdoor adventures.

On this day 53 years ago, Neil Armstrong took a giant leap for humankind by being the first man on the moon! 👨‍🚀🌕

An Eagle Scout himself, Armstrong took his World Scout Badge to the moon. ⚜️ On the way, he sent a message to US Scouts wishing them a good time at their Jamboree. 🥳

Catching up on some of our Troop adventures….we had a lovely weekend at Falkor Ranch Alpacas for Mother’s Day!
