Dr. Clevenger, a professor of Education at CC since 2007, currently serves as chair of the Education & Criminal Justice Department and as president of the Faculty Association.

Columbia College lost one of its greatest treasures Friday, Feb. 2, with the passing of the institution’s 15th president, Dr. Donald Ruthenberg Hon. ’95. He passed away peacefully surrounded by family. He was 94.

The Columbia College January 2024 Employee of the Month is Melanie Taylor, Records Coordinator II in the Office of the Registrar!

Retired Brig. Gen. Charles E. McGee, former member of the famed Tuskegee Airmen and 1978 Columbia College alumnus, was born on this day in 1919. Today would have been his 104th birthday.

Gen. McGee passed away on Jan. 16, 2022. The CC family is forever grateful for his service to our country & his enduring legacy at the college and beyond.
