Congratulations to BSWA very own Amisha Patel on this wonderful recognition!

🎉 As we continue to honor and recognize our vibrant and diverse Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community, we want to take the opportunity to introduce you to Amisha Pannu (Amisha Patel) 🎊

As the Senior Director of Provider of Network Management for KHS, Amisha is responsible for leading all contracting, credentialing, network analytics, and provider relations activities of the organization, ensuring our enrollees have appropriate access to high quality care. In her role, she oversees the organization’s Community Support Services, Enhanced Care Management, Housing and Homelessness Incentive, and other special programs supporting the Kern Health Systems network of contracted providers. Amisha’s commitment to excellence helps raise the bar in ensuring our members receive the whole person care they deserve.

🌸🌏 Celebrating AAPI Month! 🌏🌸

📢 We're excited to announce our commitment to deepening our connection with the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community during this special month of celebration! We’ll be expanding our outreach and engagement efforts to better serve and support our valued AAPI members. Last Saturday, our Member Engagement Manager, Lela Criswell and Health Equity Manager, Pawan Gill were honored to be interviewed by local talk show host Narinder Chahil on Radio Punjab to engage with our local Punjabi community and provide crucial information to ensure members maintain their coverage through the Medi-Cal renewal process.

At Kern Family Health Care, we believe that building strong relationships within our diverse community is crucial in providing personalized and culturally sensitive healthcare. We're dedicated to understanding and addressing the unique needs and concerns of our AAPI members, ensuring that they receive the quality care they deserve. Stay tuned for more information related to new initiatives that will expand our outreach and impact Countywide🌟

If you have any suggestions on how we can better engage any segment of our community, we want to hear from you! Please contact us at [email protected] and a member of our team will reach out!
