Today, we spent playtime at one of our local Child and Youth Care Centres, Seweding Village.

✨As Luke 4:18 teaches us, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed.” We are reminded that we are blessed to be a blessing, building for generations to come.

Such a joy to have taken children attending CRCMHK KidsChurch to spend this day with the children at CYCC.

Every child received a blanket. We enjoyed hotdogs, straw juices, lots of playtime, and shared a powerful memory verse: “You are fearfully and wonderfully made”🔥

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated blankets. Big Shout to SPUR gifting party boxes and stationary. We appreciate every volunteer who joined us today and made this event possible.🙏

CRC CARES MHK defending the Fatherless project is dedicated to helping children in need!

" Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed" - Psalm 82:3

Partner with us with our Cares Winter drive as we defend the Fatherless:

* Visit the Adoption awareness booths in the Foyer at CRC Mahikeng on Sunday 16 & 23 June.

* Donate clothes for children from newborn to 18 yrs as well as blankets on Sunday 16th & 23 of June.

* Learning about Adoption, Foster Care and Places of Safety. We will provide support to any person who considers being a safe haven for abandoned children.

*Joining our outreaches at the end of June as we go out to orphanages to show the love of God to vulnerable children.

* Or make a financial contribution towards this project.

Official Handover
CRC Care Crates Thuthuzela Care Centre Mafikeng Provincial Hospital as part of Beauty for Ashes Campaign.

The Centre is attending between 88 - 110 cases per month. There is great need for these comfort pack/ care crates that are packed with much needed toiletries.

CRC Cares & CRC Women have launched a joined national project called Beauty 4 Ashes, aimed at raising awareness and combatting GBV along with upgrading 30 victim-friendly (trauma) rooms at Police Stations nationwide, for our 30-year celebration.

The Beauty 4 Ashes Project is in response to the increasing statistics of GBV across South Africa. According to recent reports, a disturbing number of individuals, especially women and children, experience GBV daily.

CRC Mahikeng would like to invite the community of Mahikeng to get involved in this Project. Anyone who wishes to contribute, either through volunteer work or donations, is encouraged to contact CRC Cares Mahikeng .

Through this initiative by Ps At Boshoff and CRC Church , we strive to make a difference in the lives of those affected by GBV and to build a future where women and children can live safe and free from violence.
