Let’s talk reach, saves and shares. I’m going to use a real client example.

When I started working with they were doing a great job of sharing the work each of their stylists were creating, but they weren’t sharing WHO they were behind the work or incorporating video into their feed. Insert where I came in… We worked out a strategy, changed the focus to creating video content all the while making sure we’re bringing out the personality of the salon and stylists while keeping it all on brand.

Our reach content videos have made a huge impact on their growth! Almost all the videos we create get saves and shares and some have gone viral themselves. The first month their account reach was up 9,000%😝 and as of now their account reach is 16k.

So what does that mean… they’re getting new eyes, because of the saves and shares. We’re creating reach content that is relatable to their niche and clients. As well as creating nurture content to share their work in the feed and stories. Combining all of that gets new followers and new clicks to their website to book new clients and/or get new stylists in the salon. =GROWTH.

We aren’t reaching for an ungodly amount of followers quickly we’re building a brand using a strategy that works and builds a solid foundation of growth and they’re no longer doom scrolling hoping to find that magic viral content.

We haven’t even tapped into boosting posts and ads yet!

I used to think my purpose was to be the absolute best designer and have a booked calendar throughout the year… until I realized running my business with that state of mind made me feel disappointed, overworked, and frustrated. So I really sat with the WHY of what I do and as I was working I noticed the moments that made me feel really happy and accomplished. Here’s what I learned:

My PURPOSE is

❤️‍🔥Creating a sense of excitement and ease for my clients. Because I’ve been the overworked, tired business owner. I know how that feels BUT I also know how to change that mindset.

❤️‍🔥Reaffirming for my clients that their dreams are attainable and that it doesn’t have to be a struggle to run their businesses successfully.

❤️‍🔥My happiest moments in my business are when I get the texts that say “I fu$ki!g LOVE this” when I show them their new branding or templates… seeing the smiles on my client’s faces as we’re creating content together, them laughing and having FUN and seeing huge growth.

❤️‍🔥Being able to bring their visions to reality.

❤️‍🔥Connecting on our values and inspiring each other along the way.

THAT is my purpose and what keeps me pushing to do the work❤️‍🔥

Keep moving forward towards your dreams! Speed doesn’t matter. What matters is staying consistent and appreciating all that you’ve already accomplished. ❤️‍🔥

When I’m working with a client, and we’re discussing strategy for their brand, I always, always, ALWAYS emphasize the importance of their color palette. Humans are visual beings. We relate emotions to colors and we recognize buildings and businesses just by their branding colors! I feel like we’ve all at least once in our lives walked into Target wearing red and were terrified of being asked where the Tupperware aisle is… 🤪. My point is, if you stay consistent with the colors you use in your brands, every time you post or someone comes across your visual and digital presence they’re going to know it’s you without having to read a thing.

Your color palette is just as important as your type and logo itself. Put it all together and your business is visually unstoppable!

                                       

I may have mentioned burning it all down… and this is true. Let me give you a sneak peek into what we’re rebirthing from those ashes.

Sometimes you have to let it all burn to the ground in order to RISE FROM THE ASHES.

Sometimes in this world you have to learn things the hard way. You have to have your heart broken. Your faith taken away. Your trust vanish. Your worth being thrown in your face. You have to be the villain in someone else’s story to gain your peace.

Sometimes you have to be left questioning, is it even worth doing this anymore?

Sometimes you have to be the bigger person, and let karma tell its truth.

Sometimes you have to let your art and your creations go where they may, even if it’s in the wrong hands.

Sometimes you have to let it all burn to the ground in order to RISE FROM THE ASHES.

What a year! I have so much to be thankful for and so much I’ve learned. I’m grateful for everyone who supported me and in turn my family through this year🫶.

I’m wishing you a happy holiday and if this time of year makes you sad, I’m wishing you comfort and peace.

I feel a little bit of both, happy and sad, but I’m also so grateful for my family and the comforts that we have.
