As a mom, I love to incorporate a piece of my children into my jewelry, whether it be a name, initial, birthstone..that way I always carry a piece of them with me. I wear a St Christopher bracelet every time I travel…I wanted to make a cuff version and this one is a big boy! Started with a wide/thick piece of copper, patterned it with my rolling mill and soldered a sterling bezel cup onto for the medal.

The Serenity Prayer—written by the American theologian Reinhold Niebuhr in the early 1930s.
The prayer originally asked for courage first, and specifically for changing things that must be changed, not things that simply can be changed.
In 1941 it became more widely known when Alcoholic Anonymous began using it in their program. Other 12-step programs also adopted it.
