Pain Warriors Unite

Activism runs in my blood.

Many of my Facebook friends recognize me through my efforts to advocate for balanced healthcare policy.

However, what most may not know is that my inability to stay quiet in the face of an injustice is deeply rooted in family history - it’s in my DNA.

Karen Silkwood, a cousin of mine, was the one-woman wrecking ball who ignited the movement for workers’ rights and safety in the 1970s, challenging Kerr-McGee with unyielding courage.
