I feel like every year the holidays get more meaningful. As a child or younger youth I would just go along with what my family would plan for the holidays; now that I have my own family I feel like our own traditions are important.

Here is a bucket list I created with my family that we want to do for the month of December.

DECEMBER BUCKET LIST

- Decorate gingerbread houses with the kids
- Make tree ornaments
- Make Christmas cookies with the kids
- Take family Christmas photos
- Go see Christmas lights
- Watch as many Christmas movies we can
- Try a new holiday dessert
- Make a dry orange garland
- Make hot coco
- Wear matching Christmas Pajamas
- Listen to Christmas music
- Make chocolate chip cookies to hand out as gifts
- Wrap presents
- Donate
- Play in the snow (I really hope it does snow)

Little getaway weekend with my family!

We were actually booked to go to another special place these same dates but saw it was best to postpone for another year. We are always up for more exploring. My parents and sister will be joining us on this little relaxing getaway. I’ll make sure to bring y’all along with me and sharing what we do and where we stay.

Where is your next dream place to visit? Mine is definitely Spain (we are not going to Spain this year). The colonial style just makes me feel happy and reminds me of my parents home city in Zacatecas, Mexico.

Being a mother elevates a woman! Her senses are at her peak! She is doing multiple things at once and plans for the upcoming future. She practices multitasking while learning patience, selflessness, caregiving… When a woman becomes a mother she doesn’t only care for her child but she learns a love that is so unconditional, a love so much like God’s love. You begin to understand so many things you did not. You learn to become selfless and understand the sacrifice of true love. Even though she is giving her all and running a marathon every day, she will always try to do better the next day. She will plan, she will prepare and give… all for that “I love you mom, you are the best mom in the world” because those are our reminders that we need, to let us know we are doing just fine.

On this mothers day I hope you feel loved and know you are literally the best mom for your child. Happy Mothers Day! Also, lots of photos since my two kids can never be on the same photo together lol 😂

Friday thoughts:

-I really want to have fresh flowers in my living room to look at all day ❤️🌸

-Spring is really therapeutic for having the best weather, blooms wind and no flies.

-look at and kids clothes for my kids. They have gotten so much taller since last spring 😭

-I’m very much enjoying how life is lately. I feel like I finally figured a good balance between personal time, family time and home stuff. I feel like I wish I had more grace on myself on the days when I felt stressed and saturated for trying to do all things at once. I really have my dear husband to thank, always reminding me to take care of myself.

Sunday’s activities with my sweet family 🌸❤️

Love that we can go out and just hangout with each other. My kids are literally so fun to be around. We laugh and joke with them like our tiny little friends. It’s amazing to observe how their characteristics change and we get to see a glimpse of how they will be as older kids. They make me so so happy. 🥺😘

This cutie set is honestly so adorable! This would be the perfect travel outfit for a cute colonial town trip in Spain or France ❤️😍 Down in my heart I wish I did belong to small town where I can take a basket to pick up local groceries and fruits in the market 🥰

I forever will be so attracted to neutral outfits. 🤍🕊🧥👜I think this is a great transitional outfit. Wearing bright whites with browns and adding a coat if it’s still cold out. And a very much treasured item… my white Levi’s who were recently passed down to me from my mom! 🙌 How amazing it is to be able to have timeless clothes that can last for many years to come ❤️

We will be out of town celebrating a birthday party so it’s nice to have a comfy travel outfit and also very warm. 🥰

Tip for bouncy curls:
I’ve been curling my hair with a straightener and instead of rolling each curl up with clips for a bouncier curl, I just put my hair up with a hair claw and take it down once I’m leaving the house. Keeps the curls bouncy and full.

Matching pjs, cozy snuggles and pizza for dinner makes for a perfect weekend starter.

Sebastian is doing just great, he definitely doesn’t know how to take it easy and have to constantly remind him he needs to take care of his head. Also, thank goodness his head staples don’t hurt him. Thank you so much for you ladies who asked if he was okay and are keeping him in your prayers. We truly appreciate it ❤️

Feeling as bright as can be! Life is truly a gift from God and lately I’ve been focusing on those little moments that go unnoticed but mean a lot! Like the way my oldest son explains things to me with such passion and watching his expressions make my heart melt. My little ones brisk self makes me giggle, he is truly just charming.

Wow I’m so glad I found this quote because that is exactly what I feel when I style my clothes. I feel like it’s so important for me to feel confident in my clothes and at the same time let people know what message I want to give out. I love elegant, decent but modern clothes because I believe a classy woman is of great admiration. I love using my style as an opportunity to tell my testimony of being a Godly virtuous woman (what I aspire to be every day)! I’ve recently purchased my first coat of the season and I’m super exited! It suppose to arrive today and will show on stories once it does. For now, I do have to say that these long cardigans feel so warm and cozy. I use this long cardigan when it’s cold and keeps me warm from top to bottom. I got this one at and last time I popped in, they still had some. Definitely consider these if you are in and stay warm. Texas can be surprising sometimes

Can we talk about how damaged nails get after they come off? I’m shocked! This is my first time doing my nails one after another and I’m just feeling a little sad my nail went through so much 😅.

2022 started with crazy allergies and we have been home with tons of watery eyes and sneezes lol Sunday we gathered energies to go to the book store to get started on those new year goals but ended up leaving empty handed since we didn’t find the books we were looking for. It was a nice time though with the kids and the cozy feeling of going out to the book store on a freezing day.
