Within this session, you will learn about how psychological safety at work is important for increasing learning and taking interpersonal risk, through the use of exercises to change conversations around mental health 🧠

Authors of the book ‘The Strengths-Based Organisation: How to Boost Inclusivity, Well-being and Performance’, will be running a practical workshop on understanding and applying your strengths.

To celebrate International Women’s Day, Wednesday’s agenda begins with a fundraiser hosted by the charity One25, in order to raise proceeds towards some of the city’s most marginalised women💓.

From 9am-11am, come along to provide some baked goods, take part in cookie decorating or get a tarot card reading!

Then from 11am onwards, Jenny Riley (the Charity’s CEO) will be judging the baked goods and crowing the best cake and best decorated cookie 👩‍🍳. Additionally, she will be giving a talk about what it’s like to work within the charity sector.

Finally, from 12pm onwards, we will be hosting a bake sale to raise as much money for the charity as possible🥰

Come along for a day of fun, food and fundraising :)

Tuesday’s agenda concludes with a Conversation Starters Workshop 🎙

Join us, in collaboration with , for a skills based session in which we will discuss the importance of conversation starters and small talk. You will then get the chance to develop and practise on these skills!

This is the perfect workshop for improving your networking, confidence and communication skills so do come along and join us!☺️

Finally, Monday’s agenda concludes with our Confidence and Public Speaking Workshop, hosted by second- year law student McKenzie-Kohl Tuckett 💖

McKenzie has experience talking within the House of Commons, and has previously won a variety of public speaking and debate competitions.

This student-led skills session is perfect for learning the basics towards public speaking and oral advocacy. Come along to practice your oral advocacy and develop your confidence!

Come along to hear from four highly inspirational and successful women. Within this panel talk and Q&A session, you will get to hear the stories of Carla Denver (Co-Leader of the Green Party), Ren Renwick (a Charity CEO), Jos Clark (Previous Mayor of Bristol), and Sarainiya Shehu (Public Affairs Manager for the National Housing Association).

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain advice and information regarding female positions of leadership and how to overcome barriers!
