We have now raised about $7,000 for the Drive for MND, the drive kicks off this Friday at the Softball WA where Qbit is providing the Breakfast before the Drive hits the road heading to Jurien Bay. I am sure it is going to be an amazing adventure, stopping in at places that Ken Maclennan has found. There is a big fundraiser at the Jurien Bay Beach Cafe with Darren Reid & the Soul City Groove. Qbit has Donated about 2K worth of goods for the Auction.

Hello Drive for MND Captains,

We hope you are all getting excited with just 2 weeks to go until our 11th Drive for MND, the Coastal Crusade.

We are organising a CAPTAINS BRIEFING for you or a representative in your team to attend (or your whole team can come if they'd like). This event is to brief you before we head off on Friday 10 November and enables you to collect your event packs which will include your merchandise and car decals.

When: Monday 6 November
Where: Ray White Whiteman and Associates, 7 Cobbler Place, Mirrabooka
Time: 6 - 7pm
RSVP: Please let us know by reply email if you can or cannot attend by Friday 3 November

We strongly encourage you or one of your teammates to attend the briefing as we will provide you with valuable information on preparing for the event and the weekend ahead. If no one from your team is available, please let us know so we can discuss arrangements of collecting your pack outside of the briefing.

A reminder to encourage all your family and friends who can't make it on the whole Drive to join us in Jurien Bay on Friday evening (10 November) at the Jurien Bay Beach Cafe to help us raise much needed funds. Tickets are $60 (excluding booking fee) and include substantial canapés together with a tantalising lobster & prawn station. Entertainment from Daren Reid and the Soul City Groove will get everyone on the dance floor. Tickets can be purchased here. Please note, Drive participants DO NOT need to purchase a ticket. Tickets are only for those who will be joining us on the night.

Don't forget to book your first nights accommodation in Jurien Bay if you have not done so already. We recommend the Jurien Bay Tourist Park and Jurien Bay Motel Apartments.

The Drive for MND 2023 will kick off with a breakfast at the Mirrabooka International Softball Centre thanks to our new supporter . Here you will check in for the event and have the opportunity to meet other teams. You will also be provided with an event briefing before being told to “Saddle up!” and hit the road - an expression you will become very familiar with throughout the event.

🐯 The Canning Tigers are excited to host the Carlton Dry Siren Sessions as we celebrate our annual MND Cup, Past Players Day & the MND Quiz Night on 1 July 2023.
🏉 Carlton Dry Siren Session: A unique opportunity for the club to host the Carlton Dry Siren Session where there will be a bar area, DJ and more!
🏆 MND Cup: Battle of the Tiger. Canning v Roleystone. The league game will kick off at 3:05pm and is sure to be a ripper as both teams battle for the MND Cup.

🤔 MND Quiz Night: Entry is $20pp, grab a few mates (tables of 8-10), your thinking caps & join us from 6pm. This years theme is DISCO - dress to impress in your best 70's swag🕺🏻Dance the night away following the quiz as Club Wyong is transformed into a disco wonderland. Plenty of prizes to go during the night including best dressed table so dust off the costume box and get into it!
