This wasn’t the project I planned to do today but I had fun doing it . I remember looking through the windows at GC Murphys at Christmas and just feeling it was magical . That was my inspiration for this project . I hope it brings back special memories for you
(The tree lights up as well as the street lights . Hard to get a good picture of that )

Just put final touches on the Santa I have been working on . His body is a Downy Beads bottle . I used clay to form his body . The facial features were something new I tried . Chad made my stand from barn wood . He is not for sale .

My last Christmas creation for the day . Lots of vintage pieces on this one . A little antique oil lamp to make that room cozy while decorating the Christmas tree . The view outside the frosty window is a cold winter night . The lantern does light up and is antique . The base is a vintage book that is 80 years old !!

My latest creation !! Snowman that was created to look like something you would have found in an old attic perhaps of an ancestor. He was made to look like he was scuffed up and used to decorate for Christmas of days gone by . ( the flowers and candy canes are for visual purposes ) . This is glass .

I recently went to a flea market and bought all kinds of ephemera. I have family photos from 1956 and dime offs and ends that I’ll definitely be using . In this tread box was a small leather photo folder that had an old picture of a beautiful lady and underneath a note that I could not read . I got out my TH products and went to town

This was a very fun make . Went to a flea market and a lady offered a good price on a whole box of “stuff”. Almost didn’t do it . So glad I did . It was full of family photos from 1955 &56. Vacation photos . There were the envelopes with postage on them where they were sent off , envelopes with negatives . So much ephemera!!! Tim would have been in heaven here .

I had a lot of fun making this canvas. Cleaned out my hubby’s closet Of some old bibs and saw some good “supplies” to use with my TH goodies . My husband is a retired coal miner so I found his metal name tag ( I hid his social security number) , a sticker from a past employer, the lid of a s***f can as a base for a vintage canning lid , a snippet of one of his bandanas , apiece of copper scrap that I ran through a TH gear embossing folder and used foundry wax ,

My story !

Cindy is so proud to be at the Fourth of July flag and get to hold the beautiful flag . Her classmates Lois and Sally stand proud too as the parade goes by . Cindy’s Father ( John) and Mother ( Ruth) and little brother (Michael ) have an excellent view of the parade . The children are so excited as the marching band goes by and sparkly confetti is thrown into the crowd . What a wonderful day to celebrate!! # #

This is a Mother’s Day card I made for my Daughter in law and her Grandmother . The beautiful lady is the mother . This is a very , very old picture . I printed on heavy photo paper and gave it 2 good coats of collage medium . I then used Distress markers and crayons to color her.

I started a little book but haven’t gotten very far since I had an unexpected visit from Covid .. but here is one of my pages . I made my own base from really heavy cardstock . These ladies looked like they needed a nice cold Frosty Rootbeer .

This latest make has a history of sorts . The two little Italian boys are my uncle Leno ( left) and my dad Frank on right . I think May have been around 1938 or 1939 . This card is quite unique in that the letter is authentic. I found a box of letters from 1952 from a mother and son while he was in the military . These treasures were in an abandoned house .

I needed a Thank you card so I immediately went to the paper dolls to build my card . Everyone thought Sally was shy and plain until she showed up at a family function with RED SHOES!!

I went a little crazy with color on this card . I love all the colors but still has a little bit of grunge look . This was done with all distress inks and water . The stamp is a TH floral stamp ( don’t remember exact name ) and a butterfly and various stamps .
