In “ Look Up” series Katya Leonovich is taking a closer look to the architectural miracles of older New York, reflecting influence of Paris in some parts, Rome and Vienna in others and many other cultures from all over the world that are united in this city.
Leonovich calls New York - a modern Babylon, an intersection of different worlds, traditions and trends. All it takes to see another side of this city is to distract from shop windows and look up, up to the buildings and listen to their frozen music.

Anastasia Kopijevski , an art enthusiast and founder of Skaya Art Agency, blends her passion for art with her expertise in investment and client asset management. Relocating to Dubai in 2016, she saw an opportunity and founded Skaya Art Agency.

Modern society is a web of blue-prints and patterns of masks that we wear every day. Whether you’re chatting on Zoom or elsewhere on social media - you are shadow man. Digital reality offers only a pro-grammed set of behavioral patterns. Let’s take emoji, for example. You can only express what the messen-ger offers you, which makes your emotions reduced to a primitive mask.
This work is a vivid satire on what this most modern society looks like. Expressed in caricaturesque emoji manner, the pattern of horses and buttocks reflects a limited range of emotions and the monotony of digital reality.

Skaya Art Agency, a Dubai-based boutique art consultant, is proud to announce the return of Anna Chekh's Faceless exhibition! The pieces to be exhibited offer a mix of acrylic paint on canvas and sculptures in a bright and vibrant colourscape combining art and imagination, presided over by a shadow man. The exhibition is open to the public from 17th December until 1oth January at Boccara Gallery, DIFC. (Gate Avenue Mall, Zone C)

Dubai-based boutique art consultant Skaya Art Agency is proud to present Yana Rusnak’s Revival Art (Dynamic Bright Edition) in Dubai at Oblong Contemporary Gallery as part of a group festive-themed exhibition. Yana’s collection on display includes a range of paintings featuring acrylic paint on canvas and aluminium foil which combines animalism and abstract aspects. The exhibition is open to the public from 14th December 2022 to 8th January 2023 making it an ideal way for art enthusiasts to spend the holiday season. Visitors can also request an in-person meeting with Yana in advance.

"To be shadow man means to wear a mask. It is easy to confuse a person - put on the wrong one. You’re twisted in a knot, but you’re faceless. Your mask and you live different lives at the two ends of the knot. You can easily spot this paradox at home with family and at work, with friends and parents, in a Michelin restaurant or McDonald’s. It is impossible to unravel the knot made from your inner personality and the mask you’re wearing. You just don’t have to tie a double knot.”
