We got super lucky with the first full day of sun! We visited Talisker Bay Beach, Neist Point and the Fairy Pools which was all so magical.
The next day which was quite wet we hiked Old Man of Storr which was also of course magical.

We lived and traveled in our first van for 4 years and now we’re onto our second van and planning on doing the same thing! From NC to Mexico to Washington… we’re doing it all!

We absolutely love the freedom of this lifestyle and the unforgettable memories it gifts us.

Welcome to the family, Sprout 🌱♥️

Sprout (formerly Chilly) was one of the many sweet puppies we met when we were volunteering down in Puerto Rico (swipe ⏩️ to see how small she was when we first met her!)
Something about Sprout was so so special. I instantly connected with her— but with no plans to adopt. Seeing as we already had 2 dogs and were healing from the loss of our 3rd… there just wasn’t space in our my hearts at the time.

Little did we know that special connection with Sprout was going to lead us back together.

She has already brought so much joy into our lives. New light and life. We love her DEARLY and more importantly... so does Koi ♥️

Big thank you to for rescuing not only her but so many dogs and cats in need!! They are all so lucky to have you. ♥️

And thank you to for the volunteer opportunity that led us to Sprout! & of course providing a flight angel to get her home ♥️

Koi is going to be a big sister! We can’t wait for her to get here! 💕

Getting a new dog was something we didn’t know we’d be doing any time soon.
With Ziggy and Kissy passing… the house has felt empty. So so empty. I can tell Koi is feeling very lonely but is trying to make the best of life. As she always does.

I think this time alone for her has been good. It has pushed her out of her comfort zone in becoming strong, courageous and independent…but Koi is a dogs dog. She loves dogs. She loves having a pack. She THRIVES when she has a friend.
And we do too.

We think it’s about time to bring some light into our lives and we can’t wait for y’all to meet her ♥️

Kissy ♥️ 4/25/2015-4/1/2024

Our hearts are freaking shattered.
Kissy passed away unexpectedly Monday morning. When we brought her into the vet they discovered a tumor in her heart that took her from us in less than 24 hours.

She was the freaking light of our life. The biggest ray of sunshine. The biggest comforter.
A beach bum and couch potato queen.

Our best girl.

Right now she’d be running into the room to sit next to me as I cry and type this. She always wanted to make sure we were okay.

But it’s quiet now.

To be honest…We feel like we’re living an absolute nightmare.

She didn’t even make it to her 9th birthday.

Kissy, we miss you. Our little sweet potato. Miss Kiss. Kimchi.

We love you. So freaking much.

I’m sure Ziggy was excited to see you. His best friend.

Koi misses you both so much.
We don’t know what to do without you both.

We just want our pack back.

No matter what you eat or what your religion is I fully think everyone should take the time to go see this documentary. So well done and so educational! And I really really want to know your thoughts on it!

✨I can’t believe we sold the van✨

It honestly doesn’t feel real.

We have so many mixed feelings about selling the van. Our first home. It feels like we’re letting go of so many memories. It feels like we’re letting go of a piece of Ziggy.

4 years of living what felt like a dream…

It’s hard.
But at the same time it’s so so beautiful.

And man when I tell you how perfect the timing was for not just us but for Devon & Kelcie… it seriously is a blessing.

I’m so stoked for the memories they will make! For this fresh start of a year.

Dreaming of Baja 💭

We are so excited to be living through friends who are getting ready to make the trek to Baja!
We’re not a fan of the cold and a typical winter for us looks like running away to the warmth… but not this year.

We have big plans that don’t include Baja this year but we’re excited for what’s to come!

I can’t believe we are selling our home. 4 years of incredible adventures!!
When we first got the van we truly didn’t know what we were getting ourselves into. We really jumped in blind and we’re so glad we did.
From NC to Oregon to Mexico. This van has seen it all.
As sad as we are to part with this dream home of ours— we’re excited for our next adventure.
And no don’t worry this is not the end of van life for us. We look forward to our next home whatever that may be.

Ziggy was diagnosed with Lymphoma yesterday. It's a pretty aggressive cancer and our vet wants us to start treatment asap if we choose to move forward.
Zig has already changed so much y'all. But I know he wouldn't want to give up without a fight.
It's so hard not seeing perky Ziggy anymore. It's so hard.

But he isn't ready to give up. I know him.
