Such a great day today, working with the Gardening Bee volunteers of Wallan Gateway Church, sprucing up the garden and surrounds of the building.
A small team working together can achieve great things!

Such a privilege witnessing Habitat for Humanity's home handover to Simone & her son, Hayden today, as the 21st & final Partner Family to move into their new home in the Yea build project.
I've had the great pleasure to get to know Simone & H over the past couple of years, as they've patiently waited through a number of hurdles, not the least being multiple Covid lock downs. Wishing you both the very best for the future guys!!
This is the 16th home I've been involved in at Yea, and the 20th in total, and I can only hope to further this partnership into the future, as Habitat for Humanity Victoria continue to provide affordable homes, and hope, to families in need.
I'm looking forward to that barbie & beer next time I'm up there H!!

What a great way to spend a Saturday, working hard down at Crib Point with more than 30 volunteers from O'Brien, to bring Habitat For Humanity Victoria's next home closer to completion!
It was such a pleasure working with this great team, and to meet Michelle and her children for the 1st time. Not long now Michelle, before you're into your brand new home!!

From a pretty bold colour scheme, to something a little more calm & peaceful. Colour looks grey in the pics, but it's actually a fairly soft, natural green.

After 12 months, we were finally able to get back to SA!!!
Some before & after shots of returning the retreat back to it's former glory, and a pretty ordinary main bedroom into something a little more updated and pleasant to live in!
Looking forward to round 3 later in the year!!

Hi everyone!
My apologies to you all for any perceived, and real, lack of communication over the past 5 months or so. It is true to say that my energy has been well and truly focussed in another direction!
Also my sincere thanks to those of you who've shown incredible understanding and loyalty by sticking by me, and patiently waiting for your work to be done. Unfortunately, I've lost and had to cancel a number of jobs through this time, but that's ok, because family, and those I love, will ALWAYS be put first!
To those of you who know the details of the past few months, it's impossible to find the words to express the gratitude I feel for your love, encouragement and support!! ❤ Holding onto hope, and belief, is hard at times, but when those you love take on some of the weight for you, it becomes so much more bearable!
We've still got a fair way to go yet, and many appoinments to meet, but I'm hoping to slowly get back to some sort of regular work hours over the next few weeks, and finally complete some of your long awaited jobs! I love the work I do, and working for the wonderful clients (friends) I have, and I've been gutted that I haven't been able to serve you in the way I would normally hope to.
My sincere thanks to you for your patience and understanding. It truly is appreciated!!

So great to be back on site with Habitat for Humanity Victoria, giving a refresh to an Anchor home. Anchor Inc. are a wonderful organisation, providing homelessness support services to families in need.
Our amazing, and crazy, volunteers from the Master Builders Association, and Melbourne Uni, cheerfully put in the hard yards across 2 days to make a real difference in someone else's life!
