We started the event with some Ice Breaker activities to encourage the brothers to show their competitive spirit💪🏼! It sure got them active and we were able to see their skills at work as they tried to build the largest spagetti tower🍝🗼!! And then we moved into our Awareness on Depression Talk to teach them some signs and symptoms as well as busting some ❌myths❌ on Depression! Most important of all, we gave them some pointers on how to approach their friends when they seem down and to offer support 🤝🏼! We hope the workshop allowed them to unwind and relieve stress while learning about the importance of mental wellness✨.

On the 26th June, our DAMAI members went down to Toh Guan Dormitory to meet with our migrant brothers for our first in-person event since 2 years 🎉! They conducted a seminar/workshop📝 to raise awareness and educate our migrant brothers on mental well-being and issues like depression.
Project DAMAI would like to express our gratitude☺️ to (IRR) for their constant support and guidance❤️.
Stay tuned to our upcoming posts on more updates on our event!
