I have just left city life and moved to the country with the intention of leading a more sustainable & peaceful life. So far I am loving it! 💚 This is what has inspired this blog post and has also piqued my interest in off-grid kitchenware.

Haven't posted a mobile office shot in a while - enjoying the lovely ambience and view at in Adelaide 🙏😍

When we say our kitchenware is multipurpose, little did we realise how good they would look hanging up on the wall bringing a pop of colour to the kitchen (if we do say so ourselves 😂).

Today seemed like a great day for a picnic by the lake!

We spread out our blanket and enjoyed the views!

"I was looking for a bag I could use to make grocery trips on my bike easier, and this cooler backpack was the perfect choice. It has two pockets - the interior is a large insulated pocket with 20L capacity, and the front zippered pocket is flat and about 7" x 7.5", perfect for holding my phone, keys, wallet and other small essentials where they won't get wet. The backpack has padded shoulder straps and is comfortable to wear, even when it's full of food. The straps are adjustable and feel very sturdy, and both the inside and outer materials are easy to wipe clean. The capacity is the perfect size to carry groceries for one, but it would also work well to carry a large picnic lunch for several people. I like the modern style of the bag - it's not obvious that it's a cooler until you open it up, and I've even gotten compliments on it! The tag claims the insulation will keep food cold up to 4 hours - I haven't tested it for this long, but it does an excellent job of keeping my groceries cold even when I'm biking home in the hot sun. Now that summer has hit the uk; experimenting with freezing Sprigs of Rosemary and Mint in our ice cube trays for summer drinks during our next caravan trip.

Had considered taking a little Mint and Rosemary plant with us but worried they won’t travel well.

(The ice cube trays are from and have lids that make them easy to stack in the smallest of freezer compartments)

A new use for our slim ice cube trays! 🥚😆

A visitor to my stand at the Albury caravan show last weekend mentioned a friend of hers put eggs in ice cube trays whilst travelling. I thought our slim ice cube trays would be great for that use as they would fit neatly out of the way in the side panel in small fridges.

If you’re like us and enjoy your beverage with an ice cube or two, these ice cube trays by are brilliant! They’re the perfect size to fit in the freezer compartment, come with a lid to prevent any spills, and are nice and flexible, making it easy to get out individual ice cubes.
We freeze the ice cubes before we set off and then just keep topping up as and when we use them. We also take a small pot of frozen lemon, lime, and orange slices away with us to add just a little something extra to our evening gin and tonic 😉. Cheers! 🍸
